It isn't "so good," it's pretty average.  Denver has only had 6 drives today, so 17 points in 6 drives is 2.83 points per possession.  That is slightly better than Denver's average (2.98 this year), but 2.83 is still better than any other offense in the league did.  The real reason Denver's point total is relatively low is because they spent most of their time running the ball, draining the clock faster than they normally do.  San Diego's defense hasn't been great, but it's not the problem today.

The problem is the Chargers offense, which is the SECOND highest scoring offense in the league, going by points per possession (2.46).
Please. Tell me you won't take 17 after 3 next week. The problem is not the defense. It's the offense and special teams

Eh?

It's 17-0, the Colts haven't done shit and the Broncos are just barely taking advantage.

See my previous post - should easily be at least 28-0. I agree Denver isn't playing that well offensively. That said, still pure domination.

How is it possible to be down the entire game and still only have 12 pass attempts thru 3 quarters?  When you add in the sacks, it would technically be 15.  I realize that the game plan to beat Denver was for San Diego to control the ball, and keep the Denver offense off the field, but at some point, you kind of need to realize you can't run the ball and change things up, right?  RIGHT?

Combine this with a couple of the recent passes and there's a real, "If you could do that, then why didn't you do it before?" element.

Hmmm... A borderline HoF QB going against a very suspect pass defense... Me thinks you should keep passing.

This is just going to make us angrier when it becomes apparent that SD could have made it a game if they had opened it up sooner
