Here's my question about overtime...
Why not do it the same as the 3rd->4th quarter (that is, just extend the 4th quarter until someone scores)? If the game is tied, maybe you switch ends, ball stays where it was with the team that had it, and you play sudden death
Removes the coin flip, and really only slightly penalizes a last minute comeback (in that you'll lose the chance to possibly get the ball first), but at least that seems to me to be a 'fair' way to do it that removes the randomness of the coin flip without completely changing the structure of the game
