This is like the second time in my life I've agreed with Mazz. Good job Red Sox.

Is EEI going this crazy over it, or are they still in bed with them?

It's awesome that Mazz is trashing the very story that his employer wrote. He's the only Globe employee that has publicly been against the article.
Moreso just the information fed to Hohler, right?

Beckett must have been pissed when the Chicken Bone went out of business.

Chad Finn has been defending it on Twitter, specifically the stuff about Francona, that it was necessary to include. Disappointed in that. I didn't expect him to criticize his employer, but surprised he's so gung ho about defending that part of the story.

YES

HeidiWatney: If Felger was ever in the clubhouse he might be able to talk about the team with some knowledge rather than just repeting rumors.

Devastated that I can't hear this online in Canada. How did they bring up the Tek/Heidi stuff?
Because they were talking about the Francona marital problems which then F&M wanted to dig into John Henry's two previous wives and then they wanted to talk Tek and his marital problems a few years ago.

Said if owners wanted to bring up personal issues that get in way of the job, let's talk about marital problems with Henry and Varitek.

So who hasn't had Heidi at this point?
Me.

I missed a must listen show today too. Felger and Mazz (especially Felger) are at their most entertaining when they are emotionally invested and actually ranting about something rather than playing obvious contrarian.

I've got it. We need an inside man at Popeye's, but next time they get an order from Lackey...

Ricin.
Now that's a good fucking message board post right there.

The Tek/Heidi stuff was the least well kept secret in Boston at the time. They had more than one embarrassing, public incident. Which, by the way, would be a good name for the 2011 Red Sox, 1967 Sox were "The Impossible Dream", the 2011 Sox are "The Embarassing, Public, Incident"

Botulism, can get it from a botox injection and it's the most lethal substance in the world (except for tetnus toxin, but I don't know where you get that) 1 ng/kg and he weighs at least 100kg, so we need 1 neuroblock vial.

There's morons everywhere, churning out moronic material at all turns. I literally cannot keep up, or decide which narrative is being pitched at which minute, or know who to even believe.

This is great. I love the internet age.

The mucky muck
It's funny how different the "Go talk to the Captain" comment is now, with context. Also funny, is how probably the shittiest and most vilified everyday player on the team during the regular season is now one of the "good guys" in this whole thing.

It's fine with me - I felt bad for Carl more than I was angry at him for his crappy season, but still...soap opera-esque.
