How do you not stop the same kid from beating you over and over again? Just look across the court at what Nova is doing to Wagner, and figure it out. At some point, you just have to bite the bullet and say "We're not going to let him beat us, and if someone else does, so be it."
You can’t play them that way. Look at what they did to Kansas. No team finds the open man better. And they all nail their shots.

Matthews is killing Michigan on both ends of the floor, and has been since the bell rung. Might be better off having him foul out.

Divincenzo is a good player and all, but this is ridiculous. Kid was a 39% shooter from 3 this year, and he's 5/7, and he was 47% from the floor and he's 10/15 tonight. He only averaged 13ppg this season. He's at 27 now.
He’ll get his chance to be “the man” next year

Looks like Nova has a 5 star PG coming in and a couple of 4 star wings as well.

Michigan has to find a way to get over the hump and get it to single digits. If they do, then maybe, just maybe, some sphincters will tighten.

But, then Poole does that, and it leads to an open 3.

Everyone not named Divincenzo is 3/16 from 3 for Villanova tonight. Take your chances. This isn't working.
It’s a good coach and a good defense but they are college kids who had two days to prepare. You can’t just expect them to throw everything away and key on a guy who wasn’t in the starting lineup.

Just tip your cap. This is a mismatch. Best team in the country is playing like it against an overmatched opponent.

Bridges would average about 27ppg if they played for just about any other team in the nation. He's the real deal.

20 point game, kid just made a great effort play in the backcourt to poke the ball away, and then fight to get the loose ball. Ref, sometimes it's ok to swallow the whistle.

Cold blooded killers with a smile.

So satisfying to dominate a one-and-done world.

I think the one UCONN won by scoring 56 and 53 was worse but those of you who root for the Huskies probably don't.
VCU was a cool story and played Butler tough.

This year was a weird tournament. The Duke Kansas game was great. But for all the ups and downs, Villanova just dominated the tournament box to wire and deserved it.

Jay Wright is quite simply the best coach in America
I tend to agree, but he's an interesting case in that people remember the titles a lot more than the round of 32 flame-outs w/teams that had won 29, 33, and 32 games.

Brown’s not hanging it up anytime soon. He went through a lot to get the type of team he now leads. He’s not going anywhere.
I agree but I also dont see Wright leaving Nova to go rebuild in Phoenix or Orlando. He will only go to the NBA if he gets the ideal spot. My guess is its Philly at the top and then maybe something like the Bucks as another option.
