I'd plunk Holliday on the first pitch. In the butt, mind you. Offspeed pitch. But he can go fuck himself. He also needs a fucking haircut.
How come baseball doesn't have hydration technicians to run out during breaks to squirt water in the players' mouths from bottles?
Not many areas to find inefficiencies these days with analytics being what they are and computers figuring shit out. But I think that a team could get a jump on the rest of the league before everyone copycats.
With all the colleges in town, Boston has the best supply of low income geniuses in the country. (People tend to underestimate the need for intelligence in hydration assistance.) Get some of those MIT fuckers. Give them a uniform, $20 and free tickets for their nerd friends and make sure that the hydrogen/oxygen mix is always top flight. That's my thought anyway. Dodgers and Giants will get those Berkley and JLP types eventually sure, but we can get the jump on them and they are in the other league anyway.
