In 2003-04, the Patriots' run to their second ring washed away a lot of the pain of the Grady Little ALCS. I'm hoping the Celtics do the same this year to mitigate the devastating Bruins loss.

Where they've had issues especially in the last series is takin their foot off the gas pedal and becoming too comfortable(by Tatum's own admission). Don't relax because Embiid is likely out.
Tickets seem to be cheap for tonight, not sure if it's Philly fans bailing or what. Cheaper than round 1 even. And cheaper than many 2023 regular season games.
I don't care if they look soft and unfocused and they don't use their gas pedal properly and they cheesedick as long as they win. Style and aesthetics don't matter anymore. Efficiency is a dream. Flawless execution is an unreasonable expectation.

A guy I play basketball with has his foot work it is the only time I’ve seen it in the last 30 years. I miss it as well.
FWIW, Marathon Man Wilt Chamberlain was a more winning basketball player than oft-injured Joel Embiid. He was way more fun. He played every minute.
They were and are spectacular players. Wilt only started getting gimpy after Russell retired. Embiid came to Philly gimpy with an enforced two years on the sidelines. We never worried about Wilt’s health. And I will never forget all the moves Embiid can make, the sheer diversity of his game is dazzling.
It would have been fun to watch these two heavyweights go at it. Too bad for us.
