Ah, mixing up the junk punch with a junk kick. That’s the kind of in-series adjustment that wins you championships.

The first two or three calls were heinous, literally no contact, but most of the rest have been right. It’s more that the Celtics have gotten nothing called for them on offense the other way.

I can’t believe you guys are taking about the announcers and the refs. This is 99% on the Celts
+10 free throw advantage for the Sixers in a one point game with yet another missed foul call on the Jaylen trip. But yeah, it’s the Celtics fault…

You’re fucking nuts if you think Embiid doesn’t get three or four calls that the Celtics have not gotten.

It’s not like the Celtics have taken it to the hoop…oh wait, that’s when Embiid can foul at will.

Many things can be true. The refs favored Philly, clearly, the announcers are godawful, ear-piercingly bad, and the Celtics pissed down their leg after playing a brilliant first 5 minutes or so.

Dude, he got elbowed in the face. This game features two players who fucking snap their head back like they got hit by a damn sniper and not a word is said. That’s the time you say “he’s going to sell it”?

It’s like the “ticky tack” thing. It may have been “ticky tack” but when you don’t say shit about the first 5 that the Sixers got, maybe don’t mention it there either
I think that if Embiid elbowed me in the fave, I would die.

Embiid had to play the whole quarter for the Sixers to stay even. Win his bench minutes and win the game.

Honestly asking, have they said anything positive about the Celtics? Even Niang is getting huge props
They have but it’s mostly within the game and what’s happening. As DeJesus pointed out, Doris clearly wanted to give props to Melton, Doc (for playing Melton) and Embiid and has worked overtime to get those in

on replay it looked like jaylen slipped fwiw. I don't know how you don't call a tech there on the kick.

I'm not sure. I heard a whistle. You can't really kick a ball into the stands, right? I 'spose it could be considered unintentional.
It’s like the Smart 3 point foul against Atlanta. He kicked it into the stands, but not hard enough to warrant a T.

That's as bad a quarter out of Brown as you're gonna get. Hope that changes.

Also, 24 points in six and a half minutes then 4 the rest of the way.

Can take DeAnthony Melton out of Memphis but can’t take Memphis out of DeAnthony Melton

A question that only the gamblers care about: Is the first quarter money line a sixers win or push?
