Why? He sucked last game and the game before, too. I don’t think that anyone was planning on sitting him for the rest of the playoffs.Everyone who said “bench Pasta” can suck it

That's why you don't bench your best players unless they literally can't skate. Why? He sucked last game and the game before, too. I don’t think that anyone was planning on sitting him for the rest of the playoffs.
Well. To be fair, he had a hard time doing that at points. He looked much faster tonight. That's why you don't bench your best players unless they literally can't skate.
And it happens in such strange, annoying ways. Now up to 12 games of regularly struggling to make easy clears.Yeah, I need news on McAvoy before I really celebrate this one. The rest of that defense doesn't feel like it can keep this team in the game.
Because it was an asinine thing to suggestWhy? He sucked last game and the game before, too. I don’t think that anyone was planning on sitting him for the rest of the playoffs.
Not as much as in Games 1-4This hockey shit is pretty exciting. On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being 1999 Pedro and 10 being Kimbrel in last year’s playoffs, just how much puckering was done in that last minute?
He couldn’t skate. That's why you don't bench your best players unless they literally can't skate.
3 goals in 2 games. End of story. He couldn’t skate.
It’s been seven days since I said that they should bench him because he couldn’t skate. I was right for two games. He’s better now.
What’s complicated?
No, it wasn’t.Because it was an asinine thing to suggest
It’s only then end of the story if you can’t read.3 goals in 2 games. End of story.
Yes, even not being able to skate (which he could), he's a much more effective hockey player than a handful of their forwards. He's a top 5 player at his position, unless he's seriously hurt, he's playing every gameNo, it wasn’t.
He couldn’t skate for two games. He’s better, seven days after the fact. You think that’s a point against benching him for Game 3 or Game 4?
Prob cost them the cup though.McAvoy, kick save and a beaut
Chara’s has no hands. It’s not complicated.Chara was horrible tonight. They need to figure out what his status is and if they need to rely on Carlo-Krug mcavoy-gryz going forward
Holy shit Charlie died?Prob cost them the cup though.
They can't replace him. Probably most irreplaceable player on the B's.
I'd even take our chances with Halak if Rask went down. Carlo can give you 80% of McAvoy and no one else comes close.
Let’s wait to see what happened before we put him in the ground.Prob cost them the cup though.

He didn't even go down the tunnel, he went right to the bench.Holy shit Charlie died?
Wow. RIP Charlie.
You throw out a statement like that and you deserve to get your balls busted when you’re wrong. End of story. It’s only then end of the story if you can’t read.
You guys sure have a lot of feelings.
Let's see if he can put weight on it in the AM. Adrenaline is a hell of a drug but if his ankle is broken he isn't playing. He didn't even go down the tunnel, he went right to the bench.
I think it was half it hurt like hell, half he was killing some time to get the team a breather.
He was utterly ineffective. He got chased down, repeatedly, by backchecking forwards. He could barely move and couldn’t find the puck. He couldn’t do anything. Even last game, he was terrible, despite his goal.Yes, even not being able to skate (which he could), he's a much more effective hockey player than a handful of their forwards. I wasn’t wrong. I notice that none of you were doing any ball busting last game, when he still couldn’t skate. Or the game before that, when he still couldn’t skate. You throw out a statement like that and you deserve to get your balls busted when you’re wrong. End of story.
Let's see if he can put weight on it in the AM before we say he cost them the cup, yea?Let's see if he can put weight on it in the AM. Adrenaline is a hell of a drug but if his ankle is broken he isn't playing.
At the end of the day this is the most SOSH thing ever after a huge win to be nitpicking over whether or not Pasta shoulda sat instead of being fucking happy.I wasn’t wrong. I notice that none of you were doing any ball busting last game, when he still couldn’t skate. Or the game before that, when he still couldn’t skate.
Hey, maybe you were right all along, and his magical feelings are better now, and that’s why he wasn’t getting chased down and could stay on his feet tonight.
One of us was right. The other guy is you.
Also, you guys like to say “End of story” a lot as a substitute for actually engaging the argument. If I were in your shoes, I’d probably do it, too.
I’m ecstatic. Salem & Co are the ones looking to take a victory lap after Cassidy magically coached Pasta into being able to skate 7 days after the initial conversation. At the end of the day this is the most SOSH thing ever after a huge win to be nitpicking over whether or not Pasta shoulda sat instead of being fucking happy.
There was a shot of him at the very end of game 4 (After the last goal maybe?) that he looked utterly exhausted. Hard to carry your team for 5 games. If he cracks a little...Bobrovsky looked gassed at the end. Watched Pasta’s first goal go by him then was slow to get over on the game winner.
Pepper the s**t out of him in game 6
My issue is that there was zero reason for him to be in that position. Marchand had the puck on his backhand and flailed at the clearing attempt. What is it with this team and failed clears?Let's see if he can put weight on it in the AM before we say he cost them the cup, yea?
No way. It’s clear on the overhead, nothing ever crosses the goal line. There’s even room between his pad and the goal line.Anyone else see that puck go in on the last Columbus threat? Looked like Tuuka made the initial stop, with the right leg extended, then puck ended up getting poked over the line but covered up by the back leg. Am I crazy?
I thought I did on one replay and then realized it was part of his pants.Anyone else see that puck go in on the last Columbus threat? Looked like Tuuka made the initial stop, with the right leg extended, then puck ended up getting poked over the line but covered up by the back leg. Am I crazy?
The crazy thing about that goal is how Pasta kept the shot far glove side. Typically a RW taking a cross ice pass from a LW is going to naturally shoot back towards the left but Pasta somehow shot the puck in a straight line when he received basically just pushed it into the net.On Pasta's last goal. Bobrovski TOTALLY over-committed/sold out for the Marchand shot. With where the puck was, and the speed with which Pasta tipped it, I couldn't believe it actually went in.
