Of course they probably thinks it’s a good idea because Toronto makes it look easy since our defenders can’t do shit.
The defense has been shit and the goalie hasn’t made any saves. They can both be true. And are.
I'm no math whiz, but I think that only adds up to 3 and there's a 4 on the board...
I like Rask, but have you seen some of the saves that Andersen has made? At some point in a series the goalie needs to become a difference maker. I'm not willing to say he has done it once in these 7 games.
Tuukka isn't having a great game, but when Krug and Chara effectively take the night off, it makes his job exponentially more difficult.
The deflection would have hit him if he weren’t on his knees on the goal line while the puck was in Scituate.
As much of a disaster that period was, it's still a 1 goal game. Time to sack up and find a way to win.
Guys on the analysis are saying the Bs double shifting the top line are a direct cause of 2 of the goals. Pasta too exhausted to clear, Marchand loses focus w/ puck under his stick for the score. Saying clock on the lines is 1:32.

Even a below average defensive game probably has Toronto with no more than 1 goal. What a fucking disaster.
On the 3rd goal it seemed like Marchand was on forever through a change, then suddenly the rest of them were back on so I figured I was wrong, but then they shat the bed because they were exhausted so who knows what the hell is going on.
That's the house guys hedging their bets. It's easier to blame the coach then the players with guaranteed contracts.
Rick Nash and DeBrusk have been fantastic, I would look to get them with another center. Given how well Rick and Riley did last game, I might shuffle Riley up. Though I haven't really seen much of him tonight.
First line was in when the penalty was drawn and then started the pp. should have started it with the second unit imho. They’ve been better lately anyway. Other than that they just aren’t making plays to clear and are getting stuck for extended shifts.
I liked it better when the first line was scoring goals and Marchand was licking people
I'd love for Tuukka and the defense to make me look dumb for the next 20 minutes. And i hope you guys are making fun of me for three more rounds of these playoffs after this.

They were going to need the top line for the full 60 so no idea why he 4th line was stapled to the bench in a tie or 1 goal game. Now they’ll be too gassed to tie this up
