I was just saying the opposite… If they could finish they’d be up 3-1.Haven't seen much of Leeds but on this, Marsch should go. This side is less than the sum of its parts at the moment.

He looks like a Squires caricature of a generic member of Parliament.Steve Cooper is not a handsome man.
I’ve gotten in the habit of checking the PL app, which has this info.Playing “where is the match on” has not improved anybody’s life in the least.
they’ll get one In the 88th minute after they’re 3-1 up.How many corny counter-attack Pep fouls for Citeh until they get a yellow?
And it’s not like City’s pressing has been super intense. They passed it back to Lloris straight from a free kick on the halfway line.that's two 'long' goal kicks in a row that haven't crossed the halfway line and have led to an instant Man City attack.
Rico vs. Kulusevski is just a straight up physical mismatch.Unsurprisingly, City look a bit more like themselves with KDB on and a change of shape back to a 4-3-3. Pep wastes an hour figuring that out. Rico Lewis also not having a great game.
just hoping for a revenge hat trick from Haaland
You gonna apologize to your fellow posters for this mockery, after the PL saw fit to charge your club with malfeasance this morning? I'm not a Liverpool fan, but this haughtiness is pretty clearly undeserved and hypocritical today.poor little Liverpool and the Petro dollar clubs…

As I said in the other thread, I’m not engaging in this topic. You’ve demonstrated 0 understanding of what happened in the CAS case and have pronounced City guilty simply because of charges. It’s outright trolling and does the board no good for me to go back and forth. Go ahead, assume City is guilty, accuse me of whatever you want to accuse me of. I literally don’t see the point of your post.I would think someone whose club was revealed (sorry, accused by the Premier League) to have totally bullshitted basically every number they've reported publicly, might be a little more hesitant to claim that some chart made by a guy on Twitter under the handle @BlueCityBrain (looks like they're a City fan too!) is dispositive as to the net transfer spend. And moreover, would be a bit hesitant to cast stones or give Steinbrenner-esque pronouncements akin to "too bad other clubs aren't going the extra mile for their fanbases" when confronted with formal accusations to that effect, which is what I was quoting.
I'm no hater, myself, so I don't know why you're trying a tu-quoque here. I admire Pep, and have rooted for City to win the UCL last season. But if you're going to go around trying to deliver slams to your fellow PL fans, I might suggest a bit of humility, given that only one club so far has been accused of operating without any ethical boundaries whatsoever.
It was in response to the post by our Evertonian friend. Liverpools problem has not been City’s spending. City have spent a lot but have only ever stretched the market with the Grealish signing. Otherwise, in spite of all the cheating we are constantly accused of doing, City reportedly walked away from deals for countless top players ( Van Dijk, Alexis, Robin Van Persie, Maguire, Fred, Kane, Jorginho, Cucurella, Koulibaly etc etc). For a club that was using its nation state status to distort the market and ruin the fortunes of the rest of the PL it sure is strange how City walked away from so many deals and became essentially the model FFP club.I think it was directed toward me but I wasn't the least bit offended. It was sort of my point. Liverpool tried to play with the big spenders but that approach doesn't work when you need 4 midfielders and a centre back and you've only got a limited budget. You simply can't spend it all on one player (especially when it's not at a position of need....hi, Cody Gakpo). You need to spread it around or go find the next Andy for 9M or Gino for 27M.
The results weren't good enough to justify it, honestly. Hell of a lot harder to do any sort of build in the Championship, which is where they are heading on results right now.I guess NBC Sports won't be inclined to keep showing Leeds on USA.
Also, you sack Marsch right after the transfer deadline? What happened to the long term build narrative they were selling after sacking Bielsa?
Eh, they can field an entirely American midfield if they want to. As long as Tyler Adams is out there doing Tyler Adams things, with one or both of McKennie and Aaronson, that'll be enough of a draw. That's certainly why I watch; Marsch was the least of the appeal.I guess NBC Sports won't be inclined to keep showing Leeds on USA.
The draw is more Aaronson, Adams, and McKennie than the coach though I'd think.I guess NBC Sports won't be inclined to keep showing Leeds on USA.

So you're saying that NBC Sports will continue to call them Leeds United States of AmericaThe draw is more Aaronson, Adams, and McKennie than the coach though I'd think.
Do they have a new manager?Leeds United States of America with a new manager bounce
Another game where Leeds come out with less than they “should” have.I was just saying the opposite… If they could finish they’d be up 3-1.
