Totally agree. I'd actually be pretty pissed if they traded him if things start working out the way they have for the last 6 weeks. There's no way Loui gets traded at this rate. They'll be buyers at the deadline.
I'll take this one step further. The times when 48 makes an error its almost always because he is being aggressive, trying to get the puck out. I think you can excuse that from a young player because you can dream on what that looks like when he gets it all together and cuts down on those errors. 86 is the opposite. Almost all of his mistakes are passive. He's backing up for no reason, or he is waiting for his man to come to him, or he's standing around for no reason. There is zero upside to that kind of play.Colin Miller seems like a player to me. He's like the opposite of Kevin I that I almost never see him make a play and think "man that was horrible, who was that?"
Did Jack just read this post? Spoken almost verbatimHe's been pretty snakebitten from a scoring perspective but Beleskey has had a great month or so. Making a ton of little plays out there
His stick work has taken a step back and he's lost a step. Years past, he would have picked that back before the skater got away from him. He's had a few of those missed pokes this game.Chara has had an awful penchant for turnovers that spring the other team this year. As big as his shot is and as good as he is at so many things he's really a risk to have out there in these situations
Hayes is so weird. He's huge and surprisingly agile. He just never seems to make a play. It feels like something is there but nothing ever happensGoalies were both great. Jimmy Hayes is a stiff.
How soon we forget. Kevin was a bust until his senior year when he was teamed with Gaudreau.I haven't been able to watch a lot but that sounds exactly like him at BC. Wasn't ever able to put it together to the same degree as his brother.
This is mind-blowing.That game should have ended in a tie. Neither goalie deserved to lose.
B's 1 point out of 1st with 2 games in hand.
