Breslow just pitched 3 hitless innings; at the rate he and the front office are going he's probably getting close to a multiyear extension. Kidding aside, Ogando has been much worse.
Optioning Layne is ridiculous though. He's been the most consistent reliever they have outside of Taz and Koji. I have to wonder whether this drive to keep all available options almost to the exclusion of performance is part of this team's problem. When you set up a culture where having success isn't rewarded and winning is secondary to other considerations, you get less success and a team that isn't focused on winning.
