For people who are freaking about about Brady being 40... from a purely medical standpoint, there is nothing that concerns me about this. 40 is not a magical ticking timebomb for quarterbacks - if he feels like he can play 3 or 4 more years, I have absolutely no reason to believe he won’t. If anything he has a track record of being durable - he has at times gotten the absolute piss beaten out of him and been able to keep going. I was at the AFCCG in Denver in 2015 and he had no business finishing that game with the beating he absorbed but there he was all the way to the end. There is no legitimate medical/structural decline that takes place in a male athlete’s body in their early 40’s - that’s really more in their mid-50’s, quite honestly. I’d rather have Brady in his age 40-45 years than an unknown commodity from age 22-27 - RG3 was young and athletic as all he’ll, what did that get you. Long story short, don’t let past examples be case studies for what Brady might accomplish in winning three more Super Bowls over the next five years.
That being said, Jimmy G is super duper handsome and I will miss his manly musk
