Can you link to an image or to a page with it?I don't know how to post pictures, but Kyrie's post-game choice of attire was interesting.
I am not sure he knows the difference. And that's not a dig, many many folks have shown they don't know the differenceIn Kyrie’s case, it is certainly reasonable question to ask whether he is showing solidarity with Palestinians. Or Hamas.
His usual tinfoil chapeau would probably keep him warmer.Maybe he was just cold, hence the down jacket
Lolmaybe he watched a good movie about the situation on amazon
I don't think it's much of a question. In Kyrie’s case, it is certainly reasonable question to ask whether he is showing solidarity with Palestinians. Or Hamas.
Don’t you mean the edge of the earth? He’d follow them to the end of the earth!
You know, I was just thinking that it was surprising the he hadn't;'t weighed in yet.
If he did a breakdown on developing dribbling skills and using the backboard, I would watch it. That’s about it. Some people can be genius at one type of thing.Even if you can't yet predict the specific way he'll do you, it is a certainty Kyrie will become a distraction every few months. Dallas knew what they signed up for.
He is in the very small set of people for whom I can honestly say there is not a single topic on which I have any interest in hearing his opinion. He is not the worst person in the league (or even close - lots of charity stuff, and for all his many flaws and the negative impact of some of his words, there's a bunch of legit bad dudes who have and do hurt others physically in the league) but he's the one I least care to hear from...it feels performative, bizarre, and ill-considered so often it's just pure noise with him.
That's a great way to put it.He is in the very small set of people for whom I can honestly say there is not a single topic on which I have any interest in hearing his opinion. It’s because it is performative. This -like with everything else he does- is all about Kyrie. Even his charity is selfish (he does it for attention).Even if you can't yet predict the specific way he'll do you, it is a certainty Kyrie will become a distraction every few months. Dallas knew what they signed up for.

Kyrie is at it again. This time "getting distracted" by rabbis who brought "I'm a Jew and I'm proud" sign to Jazz game.
Kyrie: “no need to bring that to a game" in comment to rabbi's holding "I'm a Jew and proud" sign.
So they borrowed their code of conduct from the Masters? In a statement, the Utah Jazz said the signs were in breach of its audience code of conduct — which states that games must be played “without distraction or disturbance.”
Yeah, that was a pretty weak explanation by the Jazz. Seems like the Mavs and the NBA might have reason to want to pretend this didn't happen, but Kyrie telling a rabbi to not bring a "I'm a Jew and proud" sign to a game as if this is somehow triggering to him seems like a pretty serious allegation, and stronger evidence of a personal animus towards Jews than him boosting an unwatchably bad documentary (that he probably never saw) online. If the only reaction by the NBA is to take away the "I'm Jewish and proud" sign from the ticket holding fans that's pretty fucked up. I mean, those rabbis must have spent thousands of dollars on those seats, and what they got for their money was an anti-Semitic talking to by one of the NBA's highest paid employees, which was then implicitly supported by the facility when Jazz staff reacted by taking away their innocuous signs. I would think a more serious response by the NBA should be in order. Either that or a lawsuit...So they borrowed their code of conduct from the Masters?
Or repeated similar behavior in other arenas. Maybe rabbis. Maybe people dressed as globes.Yeah, that was a pretty weak explanation by the Jazz. Wonder if there is enough time to get thousands of those signs printed up so they can be handed out to fans when they enter the stadium for tomorrow’s game against Portland..Or repeated similar behavior in other arenas. Maybe rabbis. Maybe people dressed as globes.
Right. He apparently initially responded by saying “I’m a Jew too” before showing them a tattoo of the Star of David on his hand. One of the rabbis quoted said that this annoyed him (as I'm sure he's aware of the anti-semitic black Israelite belief system that Kyrie was alluding to) but that he responded with a benign "happy new year". Maybe Kyrie picked up that the rabbi was annoyed because he apparently replied by saying "no need to bring that stuff to the game" (in reference to the "I'm Jewish and proud" signs). Soon after a couple of Jazz employees came by to confiscate the signs.Kyrie told them he was a Jew. Did I get that right? Pure black Hebrew Israelites stuff.
Well, that's unclear. It all depends on whether that shirt would "distract" Kyrie? lol..
Wrote below in November, so Kyrie is right on schedule with his being Kyrie....Kyrie is at it again. This time "getting distracted" by rabbis who brought "I'm a Jew and I'm proud" sign to Jazz game.

Also, shouldn't a complaint have to have some basis? Is a player being anti-semitic a good enough reason? And if that's not the reason I'm not sure what the reason is...Aren't there all kinds of distracting signs sometimes when opposing players are shooting free throws? I think it's juvenile, but the NBA seems to look the other way. Obviously, they did something this time because a player complained - but when I read the article the first time, I assumed it was a game in Dallas. I was surprised it was actually in Utah and they listened to Kyrie's complaint.
The Jazz's statement is so weak:So they borrowed their code of conduct from the Masters?
Isn’t that the policy schools typically have on student clothing - it has to be removed if it causes a distraction? Kyrie has to be handled like a child.Well, that's unclear. It all depends on whether that shirt would "distract" Kyrie? lol..
The whole distraction explanation is particularly maddening as it seems like there are always signs brought to NBA stadiums with the intention of distracting players. After all, isn't a "Kyrie Sucks" sign more of an overt attempt to distract a player than "I'm a Jew and I'm proud" sign? And this still doesn't answer the question of why someone announcing they are proudly Jewish is a triggering distraction for Mr. Irving..
