He just nailed a kick on the Patriots' first drive of the Bills game. He has not missed a kick this season. He has been one of the best kickers, if not THE best, in the NFL since joining the Patriots. What would it take to enter the conversation for Greatest Kicker of All Time? How many more years would he need to keep this up? What kickers are above him on the list?

Vinatieri was special for his clutch kicks. Gostkowski hasn't had as many chances for clutch kicks as Vinatieri had, however. Gostkowski did miss that one kick against Arizona.

I though Gostkowski deserves a thread.

Good topic. He is the best in the game regardless of his miss tonight which was hardly a sure thing.

That miss was identical to the Bill's miss earlier in the game .. At the same end as well. The ball was dead centre .. Then took a complete right turn in the last 15 yards or so. Must be some serious wind currents at that end.

No, I am sure Ghost was on the crapper reading this thread, and started thinking "I can't miss!" Then you add in the fact that Gruden talked up all his consecutive makes, and makes over 50 yards. It was certainly karma that caused that miss.

Good thought, but clearly a rookie mistake. We all learn and move on.
