Manning is the Comeback King??

Playing with statistics and how you observe data is a nice distraction from all the terribleness that is happening with the NFL at the moment.
 
The author does not seem to worry about why Manning has found himself in so many situations where he is trailing by 15+ with less than 10 minutes left. Or care to observe that he is only a solid 3% better at coming back than Brady, when claiming that Manning is far better than everyone else. Don't forget that because another QB formerly of the Patriots is not doing well means that Brady is more a product of BB than a GOAT candidate.
 
I was hoping I could expect more from 538 than this type of analysis.

Some time ago, I decided to just roll with it, understand that they are both unbelievable in their field of play, and enjoy watching them both. 
 
That said, I no longer watch as much football as most of the folks around here, and will likely stop completely when Brady hangs them up.  But this endless debate of who is better, Brady or Manning, got old a long time ago.  They are both totally different types of players, and they are both as good at what they do as anyone we have ever seen in our lifetimes (unless you are Monbo....he might have seen someone better).  Perhaps living outside of New England and seeing my teams win three Super Bowls, three World Series and a Stanley Cup has something to do with that, but at this point, while I enjoy watching the Broncos lose, I can appreciate that it is nearly impossible to determine which one of these guys is truly better than the other.
