That’s actually the pen he used to sign the contract he was just offered.David Luiz is having trouble playing with that fork sticking out of his back.
Spurs don't have any other right backs in the squad with Juan Foyth injured and Walker-Peters out on loan.I know I complain about him every week but good god is Aurier a disaster. And he starts every game and never comes off.
Mourinho has been awful at using his substitutions the last several games.Spurs need a wave of subs BAD.
By xG difference, Mourinho's first season was better over a whole season. United started pretty poorly this year and they are on a super hot finishing streak right now that's also aided by all the penalties. They're good, but let's not start sucking each other's popsicles just yet. They were pretty mediocre through January.United have a chance to go third today but started poorly. Martial missed a 1v1 with the keeper and Pogba gave the ball away which led to a goal for Southampton. Truthfully, Pogba and Wan Bissaka look a step behind everyone on the pitch until United's equalizer which Wan Bissaka kept the ball nicely for Pogba, who sent a pinpoint ball for Martial to hold up for Rashford.
Then Martial atoned for his mistake but firing a laser past the keeper.
I don't know if this is the best United side since SAF retired, but its definitely the most confident.
No, it was the year they finished 6th. Utd were actually much better in the first Mou season than they were the next year, but the results were better the next year because the finishing improved and De Gea had a ludicrously amazing season.Right, that was the year they finished second.
The United side through January and this side is completely different. My last line refers to this iteration of it. It helps to have Bruno, Pogba, Rashford, and Greenwood all on the pitch at the same time.
I have to admit I'm not too familiar with xG. I know its been discussed here a lot and I *think* during the Mourinho years it was actually discussed with regards to United and how much they outperformed their xG one season (which is probably the second year when they finished second, my mistake). No, it was the year they finished 6th. Utd were actually much better in the first Mou season than they were the next year, but the results were better the next year because the finishing improved and De Gea had a ludicrously amazing season.
It's a fair point that the squad is better now. OTOH the fixtures have been extremely soft since the restart.
He's already a world class striker/winger/SS in my book. His finishing is there, he can use both feet, is blazing fast, strong as hell, can play with his back to goal, and takes defenders on. His lack of vision is certainly a hole in his game, but one you absolutely take with the whole package. He's easily the best Spurs player at the moment and I don't think there's a club in the world save for perhaps Liverpool, MANC, or PSG that he wouldn't start for. Just to add, he has 10 goals and 10 assists on the EPL season--one in which Spurs have been a shit show and Kane/Dele have been injured for significant periods of time, and he had to compete for South Korea in some international competitions.Son’s decision-making has always been the difference between his being a useful piece and potentially becoming world class. He’s a selfish idiot.
