To his credit he made the Spurs goal with a brilliant little turn at the edge of his own box to open up the space. It was very David Silva
Gill seems to be in a little over his head … tries really hard but generally outclassed - and not just by Walker.
I actually like what Ederson did there, if he intended it. He cheated right on Lo Celso’s left foot and managed to get fingertips on a shot he had no business being near. That’s a refreshing change from his typical Sunday League positioning.
Must be a nightmare for Spurs fans watching them trying to play out from the back. Every time they are on the edge of disaster.
Spurs getting badly outplayed against City but somehow stealing a result ... a tale as old as time.
City have been the best in the business at slamming the door for years but they just can’t close out matches this year for whatever reason. They conceded a late winner to Arsenal, late equalizers to Spurs, Chelsea, and Liverpool.
XG City 3.09 to .56 for Spurs. The path to get there was tactically different but some things never change.
