Matt Wieters out for the year (Tommy John surgery)

Orioles C Matt Wieters will undergo Tommy John surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.
 
Dr. James Andrews will do the dirty work. Per Rotoworld:
 

 
Wieters attempted to avoid the worst-case scenario, but the discomfort in his elbow continued to linger. His season is over, as surgery will sideline him for nine months ... The Orioles will move ahead with Nick Hundley as their main catcher for the rest of 2014.

Man, that guy got Proctored like nobody's business.  He caught more games than anyone else in the AL in both 2012 and 2013, and was 2nd (and just 1 game behind the leader) in 2011.
