#1 in the majors this year based on ERA.Wow, I love Dave Roberts, but hey, now! Are we to decide that he left Kershaw in to load the bases b/c he knew his bullpen stinks? (I don't know a damned thing about the Dodgers.)
They might be good, but last inning is a pretty good example of why ERA is a terrible way to measure a bullpen.#1 in the majors this year based on ERA.
Well, since we'd be in the World Series, I'd take it.Kershaw vs Price in the playoffs, what fun that would be.
Nationals. Dusty Baker has experience managing the Cubs out of the postseason.Ok who do I root for that has the greatest chance of beating the Cubbies?
Neither of these teams have what it takes to beat the Cubs; the Giants had them right where they wanted them, forcing a game 5 before that epic 9th inning meltdown.Ok who do I root for that has the greatest chance of beating the Cubbies?

The Cubs are moving on to the World Series; and in typical Cubs fashion, they will find some way to blow it. Leave it to them to win 103 games and their division by 17 games and have to go on the road for the World Series.
So brilliant for MLB to decide HFA for the WS by whichever league wins the all star game.
Fucking idiots.
I had this exact thought. I honestly thought I had finally repressed it. Nope. Even as he walked back to the dugout. And it was Dave Roberts.Did anyone get a Grady Little vibe when Roberts went out to the mound and left Kershaw in the game to load the bases? They'd be roasting him if they had lost that game.
Both Fangraphs and 538 have the Cubs as 64% NLCS favorites right nowIt's a short series. Cubs are at best 60% likely to win NLCS.
