They hadn't announced the 2nds when I typed that.

The NBA is super dumb in that they don't officially announce trades even though everyone knows they have happened so teams make picks for other teams all the time and everyone has to be coy about where the player is actually going.

It is insane. Does the new CBA do anything about this?

Not really anything you can do about it since the issue is most of these trades won’t actually be completed until after the start of the next league year.

Not sure if this is who Stevens is targeting but Andre Jackson Jr will likely still be on the board at 31. Marcus Smart type of defensive intensity with great vision. He has no shot but he impacts the game in many ways. For a late pick might be a nice get.
