Two bigs was an unusual choice, given the circumstances. The small ball lineup also didn’t seem to work well. Let’s not do more of that, please. We need a more cowbell skit where it’s just “more Hauser”

Why are you doubling down on this? Yes, we all hate Kyrie and don't want to hear Breen ball wash him, but if someone said a racial slur they should be kicked out.

Anyway, that was an enjoyable first half.
I am 100% for a fan being kicked out for a racial slur.

I also think if the fan said "f you Kyrie" or "you suck Kyrie" then Breen should be ashamed of himself for what he said. Fans have a right to have an opinion, and Kyrie has some opinions which Breen should not be comfortable defending or protecting. Breen can ballwash stars all he wants, but this is a star who does not deserve that support, and he should know better.

I liked having all the active NBA players on at the half. Randle obviously uncomfortable but it’s far more interesting than SAS yelling about stars for 3 minutes

Knowing our courtside folks, more likely it was a homophobic one.

Everything about the ABC pregame/halftime/postgame show is hot garbage. The league should be embarrassed and force Disney to hire a new crew. The NFL did just that for Monday Night Football.
They did but it took way too long.

It took Boston the first 26 1/2 minutes to score in game four the 39 points that they scored in the second quarter in game five

Winning a title wasn't going to be enough to get everyone off JTs back. He was still going to have detractors because he didn't have "the big game".

If he plays the second half like he did the first half, nobody can say shit to this man.

Put the haters to bed. Put the Tatum conversation to bed. But Kyrie to bed. Put fatty to bed.

Tuck 'em all in tight and go win a title.

Wait what?

I feel like you may not have read what I said?

I am saying that the person DID NOT say anything close to racial. 100% THIS FAN DID NOT SAY ANYTHING CLOSE TO A RACIAL SLUR (I am capitalzing for effect here)

if he did he would have been thrown out and Kyrie and Breen would have made a huge show of it. The fan wasn’t thrown out.

He also knows exactly what he's implying. Breen is an asshole and Kyrie is an asshole.

This 100%.

Anyone sticking up for that epic shitbag Kyrie deserves nothing but scorn.
These are two very different things. If you’re sticking up for Kyrie because you believe he may have been called a racial slur, that is exactly what one should do. If you’re sticking up for him for other reasons, then sure.

I want to see wire-to-wire, off-the-charts defensive intensity. Make those fucks work their asses off for shitty looks on every possession. You can rest later. Make getting to 80 points like climbing Mt. Everest for them. Celtic Pride.
Excellent. Two more quarters of that, please.

Joe needs to go in Rick Carlisle move. If the Mavs score two unanswered buckets, use a timeout

Ugh. Like Auger is saying, if someone dropped the N word then that guy would’ve been tossed. And rightfully so. It happened at the broadcast table, there’d be no hiding that.

As noted, there's no way he was called a racial slur. Breen 100% would have said that and there would have been a huge reaction from Kyrie and probably others nearby in that situation.

Congrats to Breen, he managed to make people assume the worst as he intended.

Breen made it sound like he was disgusted for the fans taunting Kyrie while he was down, not that what was said was offensive. If that’s all it was, fuck them both.

There were likely other members of the media who heard what was said. We’ll find out after the game.

Is it an indictment to say that any other show I'd hate to break up their chenistry, but on ESPN I wish it was ALL current players?! Yeesh
