I don't get all the Sherman hate. He is a WWE villain but he also backs it up on the field.

It all depends if you value sportsmanship. Nfl is such a violent game, and most of these guys show a lot of respect for one and other. Sherman is an asshole in the eyes f this of us who value that sportsmanship.

There is no way I am rooting for the Seahawks over the Broncos, Seattle is so much more insufferable.

Erin clearly got the order to throw back to Joe, before Sherman said some truly horrific shit.

Exactly. No way the producers would ever cut away from that, regardless of the risk of profanity.

Sherman yelled "MOB" after that. Is he affiliated with the Bloods? I'm only half joking here.

He is, in fact.  The Stanford chapter of the Bloods is pretty active.

I only hate Manning when he's competing with Brady. I hope he gets Welker a ring.

The national narrative is cemented now: good guy Peyton against Richard Sherman. Get set for two weeks of it.

Can you blame Sherman? Look at these incendiary comments from Crabtree when asked if he was the best CB in the league.

"I don't know (anything) about the best cornerbacks in the league. I just know teams, you know. We are playing the Seattle Seahawks and hopefully we come out with a win. We are going hard."

Harbaugh is a good coach, but how do you not call a timeout before that play?
Exactly. What I said. Especially with an young QB that was making mistakes.
Very poor coaching IMO.
Pete called a timeout to discuss and gave Wilson a chance to make a play.

Yeah, I wonder if Crabtree talked shit on the field tonight. Because if not, Sherman is a psychopath.

You mean the sportsmanship that most New England Patriot players show when they are at the line of scrimmage and are cussing out their opponents?  Or like the sportsmanship that Edelman displays when he makes a first down.  Or the sportsmanship that LGBT shows when he runs over  someone?  Virtually every player in the NFL talks shit.  The difference is that Sherman doesn't stop for the cameras.

So effing what?  The idea that these guys are fine, upstanding young men is stupid.  They are animals, groomed to hit hard and play through pain.

Oh come on. He knows exactly what he's doing. He's a very smart guy playing incredibly well and embracing a role.

Yeah but Stanford also wants to graduate people with a modicum of civility.

Did you really need the "Because if not" in there?

I wish I felt so magnanimous. Fuck him for dropping 53 rings 2 years ago.

Petty? Yes. I don't care.

Then again, he was probably SB MVP in 42 had that last drive not ended as it did.

Used to hate Sherman. This did a lot to change that. I'm sure if Sherman was on the Pats he'd be my 4th favorite after Brady, Gronk, and of course Ryan Allen.

I don't want Manning nor Welker get a ring, but also don't want Carroll nor Paul Allen to get one either. Basically hoping for a 14 ft. snowstorm that'll produce a 3-0 shitfest.

Russell Wilson's level of niceness is league beyond Peyton's. Compared to Wilson, Manning is the kindly-seeming old man on the back porch who talks in cutesy phrases while he's got tourists chained to a pipe in his basement.
