Besides WAS choking away the game today (or perhaps they just aren't that good against a solid Giants team that decided not to take a week off), we have this:

Dallas (13-3)
Atlanta (11-5)
===========
Seattle (10-5-1)
GB/DET winner (10-6)
New York (11-5)
GB/DET loser (9-7)

Such a contrast to AFC. Here, I'd say there are 5 teams that wouldn't shock me if they made the Super Bowl, all but Detroit (not saying equal chances, but non-shocking). In the AFC there are 3 teams with no shot (Oak, Hou, Mia).

Just heard a stat on NFLN that made me go wtf? Eli Manning has as many playoff wins at Lambeau as Aaron Rodgers. 2.

And it's likely that's only thanks to this sequence somehow not being a catch:

Well, to be fair, this play probably doesn't happen either if the refs don't hose the Lions on that Pettigrew non-interference call the week prior.

Sure, but at least that play didn't have the benefit of replay. The Dez Bryant play was overturned after an instant replay review. Bad calls happen and they suck for everyone involved but this was a travesty.

Says you. Watching Dallas lose in the worst way imaginable, after the Lions got hosed the week before, was simply awesome. And when Dak throws 3 picks next weekend and Dez knocks his block off, it'll be awesome too.

DAL will probably get their revenge when they gut the GB defense a little over a week from now.

There was "revenge" for every NFC team that playoff season in their next game

Dallas loses on the Dez catch/non-catch and then a tipped pass for a Green Bay first down to seal their win
Green Bay blows a big lead in Seattle and loses in OT after tying the game
Seattle loses to New England on the goal line INT

Didn't that Green Bay Seattle game also feature a horrific call late in the game and then an ABSURD two point conversion completion to tie it?

There was no horrific call late in that game. The Packers just shit the bed.

They had the ball with 5 minutes left and a 19-7 lead, ran it up the gut three times and then punted. Seattle got a quick TD, recovered an onside kick and then got another TD.

GB player also picked off a pass and slid to give himself up when there was no one within a mile of him. And they puked all over themselves in the red zone at the beginning of the game.

I wonder how many other non-Seattle fans screamed "Nooooooooooooo" at that exact moment
No kidding. It still shouldn't have mattered but that's the kind of play that would haunt me if a Pats player did something similar. He literally gave up 20-30 yards of field position.

Rodgers is about to get pulled over by the NYPD. Will be Dal/NYG Round 3.
Maybe...but even ~20 points should still be enough against the Giants to win. The Giants have a really bad offense and they play much better at home than on the road. I think they lose the GB game pretty easily....they lost in GB earlier this year when Rodgers was still trying to find himself.

Yup; a GB field goal there would have meant a lot
