He didn't complete a move common to the game, like turning around and asking for a flag or getting carted off the field.
I laughed at this. I needed that given how Seattle has played tonight

Passing thought: Carson Palmer is having a hell of a season.
Arizona caught a real bad break when he went down last year. They could have easily ran the NFC had he been healthy

God, the NFL is stupid. I don't look forward to Brady retiring, but I'm calling it quits when he does. RG has brought this level of scrutiny to the game.

These guys can yammer about the competition committee all they want but for like 20 years now rule changes have mostly been made by cabals of GM's trying to tweak the game to give their teams a short term advantage. There doesn't appear to be much will to actually improve the on field product through rule changes.

This is absolutely correct. No change will be enacted until the committee has non-active players, coaches and GMs as its members. And Bill Polian can't be on it either ... since the members should be alive

The rule should be changed to a set number of steps or a fall to the ground with maintained possession.

Without a great running game, Wilson is pedestrian. They had to sign him to the large contract, but its going to hurt.

I don't think it's the running game. It's the Oline. That Graham trade was really, really unnecessary and weakened a huge strength that allowed Lynch and Wilson to excel the last two years.

I don't think it's the OC as much either the line can't do what it is asked to do.

Best one coming off my FB feed tonight

The NFL: a multi-billion dollar organization that knows exactly how much domestic violence is acceptable but is still a little fuzzy on what defines a catch.

I don't think enough is being made of this. It really changed there offense and not the way the were hoping to. First, he's a very disinterested blocker, and second, when he does attempt it, he's flat out bad at it. Add that with them not being able to figure out a way for Wilson to use him in the passing game and you've got an unmitigated disaster on your hands.

He's the leading receiver on a run-heavy team. He's not going to get 20 targets a game from Wilson; he's just not.

I don't think there's anything particularly "wrong" long-term with the Seahawks. They've played in the past two Super Bowls. The last team to do more than that was the Bills. These things happen.
