If that was a fringe player instead of AJ Green, he'd be released before the team left the stadium for that bonehead move.

Arizona looked like they didn’t know how to run a 2 min drill - obviously a WTF ending but overall I was not impressed with Arizona

That was really poorly managed by the Cardinals. All those runs and using the time outs.
I actually thought they did a great job with it. They had 15 seconds to throw into the end zone twice. If they score, even on the first one, there's only 10 seconds left for Rodgers.

They were fine getting the ball inside the 10

then 2 bad plays. 2nd of them epically bad

It looked as thought the GB pressure was coming from Murray's left, so he went right. Green sure as hell looked like he didn't think he was supposed to get the ball

I hate that situation without a time out. The defense can freely commit penalties because the time doesn’t go back on the clock and the Cardinals can never run, because if you run and don’t score the game ends. So a defensive penalty is free.

I say: Never ever in that situation put yourself in position of having to burn that last time out until you have at least tried to score. You do everything to keep one time out because then you can always call it to kick. Sack doesn’t beat you. Ten second run off doesn’t beat you. Defense can’t pull a Harbaugh and interfere with everyone knowing you can’t try a run no matter how close to the goal line.

That last time out is golden. Running on first down and having to use it was really not very good to me.

Late edit -- I guess the Cardinals did have a time out. I had thought they used their third after the first down run.

It was like they couldn’t decide if they wanted to settle for the FG or score.
Once they called timeout with 15 seconds left I thought they should have kicked the game-tying FG there, especially once I saw that Murray was limping around, because they had several high snaps on that drive, and another bad one would have ended the game. But Kliff would have been roasted if he left8-10 seconds left on the clock and somehow Rodgers got Crosby a chance to win the game before OT.

Yeah, no one in the Boston media market cares about Bills-Dolphins, right? Let's see 49ers-Bears or Falcons-Panthers instead!

The Jets get a huge stop and then immediately give it back. The Jets defense must be agog at the lack of everything the Jets show on offense.
