Yeah that's probably as close as you could possibly get, but there's nothing there to overturn it.

I guess it stems from my belief that if you truly are intelligent, you don't need to try to impress people. And I feel like he overtly tries to do that. "HEY look at me with the magician in the clubhouse! Themed road trips! And also I listen to the Grateful Dead and ride a bicycle to places. And I have an RV."
And that fucking hat he's wearing

He's like the Phil Jackson of baseball...if Phil never won a championship.

I'm confused. Did Maddon actually let a relief pitcher lead off the 8th inning, then switch to a different pitcher for the bottom half?

Tonight? No, Coghlan hit for Grimm and then Richard went in to pitch. ... (Am I missing something?)

Thanks. I'm not watching, just going by the ESPN box score, which has Grimm actually having batted

On the SNY Post game Show Bobby V doesn't need gloves or an overcoat like those other guys cause he's a MAN.
And Keith needs that ridiculous coat with the fur collar why? He looks like he's going on date with the Captain of the QE-2.

So lots of time splitting between this thread and Pats game I presume?
Might add some reruns of Cam Newton post-scoring grand standing from today's game. Newton almost could make one pull for Seattle.

I dislike Joe Maddon as much as anyone, but it's really, really hard for me to root for the Mets. I'm rooting for the road team for the rest of this series. I hope it goes seven games, and whoever wins is so emotionally drained that they fold like a sad sack of shit against either the Royals or Blue Jays.
