I concur with your assessment.

Amazing how the Patriots are called out for cheating for months on end, yet the Cards skated on hacking the Astros and it hasn't been mentioned since it broke

So yes, fuck the Cards

It looks like 107 years of buffoonery are about to end for you, Cubs fans; get used to no longer being called "Lovable Losers", I don't see how they don't win the whole thing at this point.

StatCast has that at 419 feet, leaving bat at 113 mph.

Agreed. No way that was only 419. That went out of the stadium didn't it?  Where would that have landed at Fenway?
Cubs ownership is lucky that thing cleared the scoreboard because if it hit it, it either would have gone strait through or killed it.

Hopefully Steve Bartman and all goats are out of town.

I don't even wanna guess what they'll blame if they blow this series

They invited Bartman to the first game at Wrigley this postseason.

He turned them down.

Those horrible fans ruined that dudes life over a ball Alou absolutely had no shot at catching. Fuck Cubs fans.

In case you're wondering, the PH for Strop and the closer will make it 20 players Maddon has used today

They do sort of seem like a team of destiny. But the NLCS won't be easy, and hopefully they then have to get through Toronto.

Over under on the home runs if that series went 7 games? ... 40?

This seems sorta like a world series, or at least a Red Sox - Yankees type ALCS
