So, if he doesn't get claimed the Browns owe him $7.25m, OBJ gets to choose his team, and the new team can pay the minimum for the rest of the year?
basically, I think CLE would likely owe him 7.25M minus the minimum. So, if he doesn't get claimed the Browns owe him $7.25m, OBJ gets to choose his team, and the new team can pay the minimum for the rest of the year?
If you want him on the Pats this seems better than the minimum salary restructuring that Rapoport talked about earlier today where he for sure would’ve been claimed before NE got a shot. Good chance he clears now. This may be relevant to anybody claiming OBJ with the thought of claiming him and being a rental.

Yes I agree with you. And Korte added later that if you do sign him as a free agent you do get a comp pick if he leaves in FA this coming offseason. If you want him on the Pats this seems better than the minimum salary restructuring that Rapoport talked about earlier today where he for sure would’ve been claimed before NE got a shot. Good chance he clears now.
Bill planted the misdirection story. Update on MondayHe seems to not be interested in NE if early reports are to be believed. I think he and Bill have a mutual respect but seems he may not be interested in helping a rebuild Along ?
Someone tell him Seattle is a rebuild. He seems to not be interested in NE if early reports are to be believed. I think he and Bill have a mutual respect but seems he may not be interested in helping a rebuild Along ?
How many targets would he see with Metcalf and Lockett there? It would be a good "problem" to have for Seattle, but there's only so many times Pete Carroll wants to throw the ball.I've seen reports so far this morning that both Detroit and Arizona did not put in claims for OBJ. I expect him to make it through waivers, although Seattle is an intriguing team because they have the money and the interest to claim him.
He'd steal Freddie Swain's targets, so about 3 per game. I've been saying all along that there's no way he'd be happy with that. And there's no way he deserves more unless he goes back to 2014.How many targets would he see with Metcalf and Lockett there? It would be a good "problem" to have for Seattle, but there's only so many times Pete Carroll wants to throw the ball.
If you have to ask this question ... don't bother quoting the tweet.Has anyone heard of this person before?
Exactly. If you have to ask this question ... don't bother quoting the tweet.

SOURCES: Odell Beckham Jr. had a private flight booked this afternoon to Norwood Memorial Airport and plans to sign with the Patriots if/when he clears waivers #Patriots #OBJ
Has anyone heard of this person before? They show tweets claiming to have had insider knowledge of Ime Udoka being hired six days before the announcement and Alex Cora's return four days before the announcement, but he very well might have been throwing crap against the wall as opposed to having had any actual knowledge.
That's former credentialed journalist and Cardinals batboy Jake WesleyUncle Jake Wesley?
It's a landscaping companyAre we sure Norwood Memorial isn’t a funeral home?
Odell is not going to be signing with the Pats. It is a 0% chance. One of the worst things you could do to McKorkle is bring Odell onto the team.Unless he's flying from Rocky Mount, NC there are no more incoming flights scheduled to go into Norwood today according to FlightTracker.
But he has the official blue bird to the right of his name!As a reminder, please do not post rumors, speculations, nor "reports" from unreliable sources.
This includes unverified Twitter accounts (i.e. no blue checkmark) and known trash "sources" like Incarcerated Bob or David "Football Doc" Chao.
I love when you sports hate a player.Odell is not going to be signing with the Pats. It is a 0% chance. One of the worst things you could do to McKorkle is bring Odell onto the team.
I definitely really hate Odell the player. And no matter where Odell goes, it's not going to go well.I love when you sports hate a player.
Well, Deni Chennen got the Pa-- right
It could be true, or OBJ's camp could put that out there as pressure on another team that he wants to go to(Seattle). Was just coming in to post that. The guy apprears to be somewhat reliable. Couple that with the fact that Green Bay probably makes the most sense.
Is anyone going to actually be desparate enough to claim him and pick up that contract?Again the tweet is based on IF he clears waivers
Rodney Harrison was (is?) hosting a show on NBC Sports Radio on Sundays and at the height of OBJ's prime he was constantly pushing back on OBJ being a real elite receiver and someone who would last long term. Said he saw OBJ as supremely talented but sloppy in the fundamentals. He wasn't saying that OBJ wasn't elite, but it was 100% talent based and never learned the details. From the reports of OBJ wanting to be "coached" and his current status, look like Rodney was more right than wrong.I definitely really hate Odell the player. And no matter where Odell goes, it's not going to go well.
But bringing him in while Mac is growing as a player would be disastrous.
Shocked nobody jumped to pick him up.
KC or BAL make sense, they both really need receiving talent, obviously have big time QBs, and will give OBJ big platforms to garner attention/hone his rep.I'll guess he lands in KC.
If you think John has a hair across his ass now, wait until OBJ signs with the Pats on a 2 season contract.Shocked nobody jumped to pick him up.
