I was going to wait until 2Q to get a better number but ended up laying 12 anyway. Even if it’s close at half the 2H should be a rout. So many variables in that game that won’t be in play this time around. Jrue, Booker, and Middleton were all less than 24 hours from flying 16 hours to Japan only a couple days after The Finals. Durant got in early foul trouble against Gobert when the defense was out of position. Despite all this we had a 7-point lead midway through the 4Q.
The 1H should be close as the USA has developed a comfort zone of using the 1H to identify where and how to attack in the 2H......but this 2H figures to be just as ugly for France as it has for our previous opponents.
Preflop USA 2H has been stealing money past two games and I expect it will do same tomorrow. That and USA 2H if game is close.
If you want to get trickly fade the USA in 1H but do so at your own peril tomorrow.
Ugh no freakin way. USA wins by 20+ even if they trail at the half. Same as Australian game.....that is our worse case.
If I was close (15 minutes) to a physical legal sports book, I’d take the US-13 but I never bet
Where do you get the USA 2nd half lines available pregame, is that bookmaker? The 2 books I have only post 1st half until the actual 1st half is over.
Yeah most PPH don’t have it. I found it on Bookmaker but they limit to 250. I’ve added live each game though but those 2H have resulted in great value at the half so far.

the difference between this team and (for example) the World Cup team is that whenever the US needs a basket, they can just give the ball to KD and get out of the way. I'm guessing also that the US shuts down Fournier.

He looks fitter than he did as a C, but his offensive game is still awful and he'd foul out in about a quarter if these were NBA refs.
Great half from Tatum and Durant, solid contributions from Holiday, Adebayo and Green, not much at all from Lillard, Booker, Middleton and Lavine.
Every game we’ve made massive halftime adjustments leading to routs......with the one exception of our jet lag game that we gave away down the stretch. Pop has done an incredible job with no prep time imo. Love how this team has played these past two weeks.
Holiday is great, but Dame and Booker aren't adding anything if they aren't scoring (both are negatives defensively and on the boards and they aren't creating easy opportunities for anyone else). That's ok on their own teams, but on an all-star team if you can't provide multiple things you are a liability unless you're the very best scorer on the team. Much rather see some combination of Tatum/Middleton/Lavine than Dame/Booker.

Why? What is the goal here? We have no idea how these teams play, use the first half to get a read, make HT adjustments, then destroy them in the 2H. It’s been clinical all week.
I know everyone has Giannis fever these days, but Durant is still the best basketball player on the planet IMO.
