This game is so tense!

Also, are you all getting these illegal immigration commercials in between innings or is that just a California thing?

I'm tired of the Dodgers. If the Padres could win this series while Machado gets injured, that would be perfect

Maybe Turner felt the the tag come off and that's why he didn't bother to keep touching the bag. These announcers!

Otherwise, screw the Dodgers.
Curious about this mindset. Aren't the Dodgers everything we want the Red Sox to be? Strong foundation of homegrown talent with the financial muscle to make impactful moves to fill in the gaps and holes while also having the scouting prowess to identify under-utilized assets such as Muncy and Taylor?

Who in the actual fuck at Fox thought Pierzynski should announce playoff games? Pick a random former player and he'd do a better job

The Dodgers are my NL team mostly because I got MLB.tv years ago and late at night when I was going to bed I'd watch their games with Vin Scully announcing them.

Same here. I've watched the Dodgers more than any other NL team over the years. Living in MST, I would flip to the Dodgers and Vin Scully as soon as the Sox game ended.

Why is that relevant to post-season rooting interests? If the Sox are not in the post season, I root for a) YED as quickly as possible b) underdogs. Who cares if the Dodgers are “well-run”? Way too much whining in their fan base, not just about the Astros cheating in 2017, but also claiming (with no evidence) that the Sox cheated them out of a title in 2018.

And towards your point, the Padres GM and ownership made very aggressive moves to win a championship now. Isn’t that what all the Chaim/Henry critics on the main board want the Sox to do?

Yankees are still in it and Dodgers have a much better shot of beating them then the Padres or Phillies or Braves
