Strength in all three phases of the game led New England to a big win over Denver. Our recaps have already discussed Tom Brady’s touchdown throw to Brandon LaFell, and Rob Gronkowski’s big night. Part 1 of the film review looked at Danny Amendola’s Interception, and Part 2 focuses on two key 3rd down conversions in the second half that kept the chains ‒ and the clock ‒ moving.

Regarding "The Rub" play, just the presence of Gronkowski on the same side of Edelman and Amendola pays dividends here, too. Basically takes Talib out of the play as he is responsible for Gronk. Talib is so concerned about Gronk (as he should be) that he is late to react underneath on the pass to Amendola. It's man, not zone, so it's not a mistake by Talib - although it is 3rd and 11 so maybe he needs to give up the flat at that point and gain a little more depth.
 
And it's amazing that Gronk went so untouched off the line throughout the game. And strong-side linebacker key number one is to watch the tight end. When the six-foot six guy runs past you, it's probably play action. Good job #52.
