Knowing Belichick's great respect for Mike McCarthy and Sean Payton I would think those first 2 weeks would include joint practices.
Surprised the SB champs getting no national TV preseason games especially playing the Packers and Saints.

Also, for reference, the NFL released last year's preseason schedule on this exact date last year. They released the season schedule on April 22.
Nothing like the first and last preseason games at home!
Seriously though will be good to get a good look at that handsome backup. As opposed to other years where the backup qb was just there in case of injury.

I'm surprised there are no Network games the first two weekends of preseason nor ESPN games the last two weekends (Aug 29-30, Sep 5-6). Of course the last Pat's preseason game will be early (9/3 or 4) due to the early opening night game on September 10th.
In some ways I never want last year's season to truly end, and in others I cannot wait to see that banner hung. Exciting first step.
A joint practice with the Packers could be a circus. I remember last year the DC folks said the entire area was overwhelmed and it took forever to get anywhere.RedOctober3829 said:
