Reasonable question. Do you think they would not a be a London 2018 possibility because the NFL would want some diversity in these games or because the Pats would balk at it? From the Pats standpoint, I'd imagine the chance at neural field game is seen as a big benefit.
Everytime Jonathan Kraft has been asked about playing overseas he said they love it (as long as it's not a home game). As tims4wins said it's a neutral field and it's a great chance for them to help expand their brand overseas.

I couldn't go in 2012 due to life circumstances, and 2009 wasn't really on the table either, but I think I would be highly likely to go to a Pats game in London if they play there in 2018
And I'd highly recommend it. I went over there for the game in 2009. Interacting with the fans before the game was great.

November 19th, Sunday night.
You have an inside source as to the date? I can't find it anywhere.

Edit: I am seeing that it is being reported as a Sunday. And the hotel I've booked was highest on that weekend, so I'm not doubting you.

Here
Why should the Pats reward Goodell and the NFL by agreeing to a Mexico trip?
Crowd will be pro-Pats and possibly confused about what is happening, which is a big plus over having to face a hostile Raiders crowd.

Well, I live in Mexico. It is on mexican papers.

However, others are reporting it will be late afternoon.

I consider that, although in November it is not hot, the altitude and a 70 degree temperature is not optimal.
The reason hotels are more expensive is that on Monday, the Mexican revolution is celebrated and people from other parts of the country come to Mexico City.
