I wonder if he'd be a fit at move TE. He's a big guy and should have no problem adding muscle. He's very athletic and was the #1 dual-threat QB coming out of HS. A lot of his lack of production at Michigan is the coaches' fault. Brady-to-Edelman-to-Gardner-to-Edelman-to-Brady would be an unstoppable play.

He's also a very high-character kid who had to suffer through position changes, two different OCs, and overall lousy coaching. All that being said, I think the practice squad is a best case scenario for this year. He is in no way ready to contribute to a 53 man roster.

Wish they wouldve taken a run at Mancz and Finney. 2 Good  sized  Centers.  1 (Finney...who is one ugly joker) was a former wrestler and the other (Mancz) has played T,G and C and is said to be very good with Shotgun snaps.
 
Finney signed with Pitt and Mancz with the Texans.

ESPN reporting that Cal WR Chris Harper signing with Pats in addition to Devin Gardner

NESN reporting that Georgia center David Andrews, Auburn safety Brandon King, tweeted they are joining Pats.

Andrews tweets concomitantly that God has a plan.
