A quick Google search came up with the playoff schedule and when each network has each game. Based off of that, here's an amateur prediction.

Wild Card Weekend
Saturday
4:35 Seattle/GB at Washington (ESPN)
8:15 Pittsburgh at Cincinnati(NBC)

Sunday
1:05 KC at Houston(CBS)
4:40 #6 seed at NFC North winner(FOX)

Divisional Weekend
Saturday
4:35 3/4/5 at Arizona (NBC)
8:15 3/4/5 at New EnglandCBS)

Sunday
1:05 4/5/6 at Carolina(FOX)
4:40 4/5/6 at Denver CBS)

Updated due to error on my part.

Pats were 430 last year weren't they? At least according to the last year schedules I can find

I think Seattle at Minnesota would be the ESPN game if Minnesota wins tonight because FOX would rather have Green Bay. Pittsburgh is absolutely getting the Saturday primetime slot.

The Pats have always gotten the CBS primetime slot on divisional weekend when eligible due to the Kraft/Moonves relationship. I also think the NFL will prefer to give Manning a 2:40 start instead of 6:15 local time.

The Pats have played on Saturday night every odd-numbered year they've had a bye. Here's my guess:

4:30 KC at HOU
8:15 GB at WAS/MIN at GB
1:00 SEA at WAS/MIN
4:30 PIT at CIN

4:30 at ARZ
8:15 at NE
1:00 at CAR
4:30 at DEN

All network designations are tentative at this point. That's why the IU-OSU game on CBS is still listed as "1:30 or 4:30."

Wouldn't the NFL try and set it up where AFC No. 1 gets the Saturday game and Pats get Sunday game to give possible extra day of rest to No. 1 seed

The Pats have played on Saturday night every time they've had a bye when CBS has had that slot which includes when they were the two-seed in 2001 and 2013. Denver also hosted the Saturday night game as the two-seed in 2005. I don't think there's any preferential treatment given to the one-seed.

NBC just showed the schedule, we have the Saturday day game again. Like going first and getting it out of the way

Earlier in the thread, I mentioned networks were still to be confirmed, but I'm surprised CBS got the prime time game on Wild Card weekend. I don't believe that's ever happened before.

Going first is nice when you win. Sucks when you lose and the rest of the weekend kind of blows.

Current forecast (I know...practically useless) is sunny high of 33 degrees.

Pretty surprising that the 1pm Sunday game involves 2 teams that aren't on Eastern time.
The only game that could've been the case for is Steelers-Bengals and the Steelers were definitely going to be either Saturday night or late Sunday afternoon.

True, was thinking though that it made more sense from a fan point of view for GB-WAS to be at 1 and SEA-MIN to be the later game.

Have we had both AFC WC games on Saturday and then both NFC games on Sunday before?

I recall it always being 1 AFC and 1 NFC each day.
It happened once, in 1977. The NFL wanted to avoid playing on Christmas (which fell on a Sunday), so the two AFC divisional playoff games were played on Saturday and the two NFC games were played Monday.

I think the reasoning behind this schedule was that the Vikings game had to be Sunday due to their lease with the University of Minnesota and the league wanted to give FOX the game involving the Packers since NBC got tonight's Vikings/Packers game.

So, 2 teams won by losing today.

Patriots will miss the Steelers until the championship.

Packers will miss the Seahawks until the championship.

I don't recall the timing of the Pats divisional game being released this far before the end of WC weekend in the past. Am I mis-remembering? Is that official?

Misremembering. It has been like this the last several years where we know immediately.
