Just a quick vote on the new threads--lots of opinions in other thread, just wonder where we come down as a group. There are so many variables, but I tried to keep the choices easy. If one doesn't accurately convey your thoughts, pick the closest.
That's true, but it's also true that they could bring back a cleaned up version of Pat. FSU's change jumps to mind:I remember reading that the NFL had pushed Orthwein for a redesign because of the difficulty that the merchandise makers had with the Pat Patriot logo on apparel. The stitching for PP is apparently much more intricate than the average logo and made it more expensive to produce.
No TV numbers on the new Chargers' uniforms. (Edit: or, at least, not on the shoulder/sleeves.)Are the 2020 Pats the only current team w/o numbers on the shoulders or sleeves (don't know what they are called these days, back in the day they were called TV Numbers)?

I don't think it would be hard to get to a place where it's any harder to produce than, say, the Jaguars' logo. Here's a fan version:
That's interesting. Never even noticed the change with Florida State. I could get with that concept for Pat. Lose the silver though...disliked the silver since day one. That's true, but it's also true that they could bring back a cleaned up version of Pat. FSU's change jumps to mind:

Kneeling? Why can't they just be traditional and keep the 60's and mid to late 80's ones. With the white helmet and stripes on shirt, the Patriot kneeling? And the red pants for the road unis.
I'd love to see it on the current unis. Just replace the logo on the helmet (keep the silver) and the sleeves. If anyone has the skills, I'd love to see Pat on the silver helmet.New uniforms are a solid meh for me.
I would so love a simplified and updated Pat Patriot incorporated into a red alternate uniform.
