My kid was watching this match with me and wanted "the red team" to win.

I fear I've turned her into mikeford. Call Social Services.
I have taught my son (and will teach the girl) from day one- "we like the blue team. we do not like the red team." My wife was pissed when she caught him giving the wanker sign at Arsene last season. Highlight of my parenting so far.

Cech has now lost the same number of home games for Wenger as he did for Mourinho.
You just know that Jose has relayed this fact to him somehow too.

Wollscheid has a Sterling-esque running motion, arms out.

Good move to take Lallana off, move one of Henderson/Milner up and have Can advance the ball from deep.

Skrtel and Lovren linking up at the top of the box. What?

Nice save there

Butland to Benteke in his face as he tries to punt: "Ehh fuck off"

I will say, I think Taylor's officiated very well thus far - after the Milner challenge on Adam it had the potential to get ugly.

As I type that, Adam goes in late on Henderson

California. Duh.
More points from Stoke away than Chelsea got at home from Swansea or Arsenal got at home from West Ham.  I'll take that any time.

Coutinho-Firmino-Benteke looks like it could be really good combination.

I'm surprised Stoke didn't push the LB more as he looked a little lost.

The defense has to improve on their set plays. Good service would have gotten Stoke 2-3 goals.

City up 1-0 on what was certainly a very jammy goal.  Pulls nominally has WBA playing 4-4-2 but it's playing like a 4-6-0 in typical Pulis fashion

I remember him as far more active at Swansea but he's a real asset on long goal kicks and at just literally holding up play to establish possession.  It cracks me up every time he posts up a defender.

You better get used to Sterling making those brilliant runs then not finishing them...

I can live with it.  I'm sure Ibe would have buried it but I'll just have to settle with Sterling.

Nothing to complain about in that 1st half.  West Brom look like relegation fodder.  Not sure if City is playing that well or they're actually that bad.

Yeah it did for me as well, apparently when West Brom actually had some pressure.

Kompany scores now.  That's the best development possible, if he comes all the way back City will be all the way back.
