Dead at 82. Certainly one of the most pivotal figures in any franchise's history. Inherited a team that had never won a playoff game and was 105 games below .500 in its history. Four SB wins in 6 years, and the Steelers have never had a prolonged down period since he took the reins.

In the words of one of the family, Chuck Noll was the best thing that happened to the Rooneys since they boarded the boat to the US from Ireland. Well done.

I think it is insane that the Steelers have had three head coaches in 45 years. In the revolving coaching carousel that is the NFL (Cleveland has had three head coaches since 2012) that might be the most impressive record in sports today.
