Well I'm sure I won't be the last to comment on the experience of first spotting the thread title.

That was fun when the invasive ad on the page blocked over part of the thread title, just leaving:
"RIP C[Big Ad Banner]Schilling Red Sox Player"
Rest in peace, Chuck.

I saw Chuck and for 0.2 seconds, I thought it was word play on Curt or Curtis. Then I remembered it's short for Charles.

I'd be very conflicted about that one, mostly because that guy is 54.

RIP Chuck.

He played with Yaz in Minneapolis and came up with him in the hopeful spring of 1961. He was a regular for three years and probably Yaz's closest buddy on the team during that era.

Schilling, Mantilla, Lamabe - they all played on the same Sox team at one time and now they're all posting on this thread! And yeah, good field, no hit Chuck Schilling but whatev, we're all part of Red Sox Nation. RIP Charlie Chuck
