Great show as usual, NFL films does a great job.Going to need the link to any of the Inside the NFL videos. I don't get Showtime. Belichick miked up?! Yes. ALL OF IT.
The confidence and poise that staff operates with is impressive.Great show as usual, NFL films does a great job.
Belichick coaches his ass off, always talking to the defense, get upfield, we got this, they've got nothing.
"We're the champs!...……...hey, we're the champs!...……….."...….gets drowned in Gatorade.
"Did you spend time with Gurley on the field after the game?"Sony Michel on Jimmy Kimmel Monday night.
“Somebody said he was the fastest to the locker room.”"Did you spend time with Gurley on the field after the game?"
"No"
A blessing?

Sweet. I'll download this.

I was expecting him to follow up with "That's the only time he was the fastest that day" but Sony does not operate that way, such a humble kid, so glad for the way his season turned out, 6 TD's in the playoffs ties a record for rookies.“Somebody said he was the fastest to the locker room.”
- Sony
Loved how on Inside the NFL they asked Ray Lewis "What did you think of the exchange between coaches prior to the game?" and Ray said "The game was over right there"......or words to that effect.

36 he ran a bunch of yards down the sideline checking Adam’s field goal when you could pretty much tell he nailed it “right down the pipe.” Then he was celebrating when Milloy came over and picked him off the ground, then his daughter...It's weird to see Bill say "We're champions!"
Has he ever been that enthusiastic after a SB win this decade? Or is it just because he's mic'd?
EDIT
Man, I love Slater's excitement when he asks Edelman "Are you MVP?" and Edelman confirms.
"Grandpa...I mean...Coach!"
Yeah, back then I can see it. But the ones since the Seahawks...36 he ran a bunch of yards down the sideline checking Adam’s field goal when you could pretty much tell he nailed it “right down the pipe.” Then he was celebrating when Milloy came over and picked him off the ground, then his daughter...
Thanks, yea I didn't recognize him with the beard.Brendan Daly. The D line coach.

He has a beard now.
Yeah, that kinda surprised me. Being the QB you would think TB12 would lobby BB to go for it. Hell no--"kick the FG and the game is over."It's funny to hear how matter-of-fact everybody is in that NFL films video...on the 4th and inches Brady is like "let's just kick the field goal and the game is over!"
I don’t know, I remember him being pretty thrilled after all of the Suoer Bowls. At the end of the 2004 Super Bowl win against the Eagles when Rodney came down with the game sealing INT, Belichick jumped up like a kid in celebration:36 he ran a bunch of yards down the sideline checking Adam’s field goal when you could pretty much tell he nailed it “right down the pipe.” Then he was celebrating when Milloy came over and picked him off the ground, then his daughter...
At about 22:40 he looked catatonic. Also, before the game, he went on and on to BB to the point of being an obsequious sycophant (words I don't use much). Yeah, Ray Lewis said it was over then.McVay looks beaten after the field goal in the fourth.
That was an understated and awesome part of the video for me. Just another little thing that shows how much Brady cares about winning instead of personal stats, even though his personal stats are pretty god damned stellar. It's funny to hear how matter-of-fact everybody is in that NFL films video...on the 4th and inches Brady is like "let's just kick the field goal and the game is over!"
Also shows, for all the hot takes about Ghost, even with his miss earlier in the game, that Brady and Bill have total confidence in GhostThat was an understated and awesome part of the video for me. I recalled the first shot, I couldn't recall the second. Thanks for posting. Glad to see it.I don’t know, I remember him being pretty thrilled after all of the Suoer Bowls. At the end of the 2004 Super Bowl win against the Eagles when Rodney came down with the game sealing INT, Belichick jumped up like a kid in celebration:
And in 2016 when James White broke the plane in OT he and McDaniels freaked out:
Tom’s ball on the INT was a wounded duck. But yeah, on the touchdown drive, things of beauty.Yeah, that kinda surprised me. Being the QB you would think TB12 would lobby BB to go for it. Hell no--"kick the FG and the game is over."
The other thing that struck me is that the slow-mo really illustrates how tight Brady's spirals are compared to the wounded ducks that Goff was throwing up there.
Dear Bill, I wrote you but you still ain't calling.McVay sounds like Eminem’s ‘Stan’ in his conversation with Belichick.
Kyle Shanahan probably cringed watching that. It's funny to hear how matter-of-fact everybody is in that NFL films video...on the 4th and inches Brady is like "let's just kick the field goal and the game is over!"
This is good.Dear Bill, I wrote you but you still ain't calling.
