Anyone have suggestions for getting a YouTube channel pushed by the algorithm?
A lot of weight is carried in their activity metrics (how long were people watching, how engaged were they, etc). So, its not just clicks, but making engaging content.
I'd also treat your YouTube channel like a website. Organize your channel (playlists), and make sure the metadata and descriptions are (A) accurate, (B) targeting high traffic keywords, and (C) targeting the lower traffic keywords that are also relevant to your video topic. If keywords and descriptions aren't accurate, theres a good chance you'll be dinged for high traffic/low activity. If you only target high traffic keywords, you'll lose out to the people doing it at a higher traffic level than you. The goal should be to slowly increase your video viewers with people finding you through the low traffic keywords, staying engaged, and then boosting you high enough to start competing with the big dogs.
Also, get a hot chick with a lot of cleavage for your video image grab. I heard RBYB mom is available.
