For those on DK not in MA, DK is running their NBA Threesday promo where you bet on the 1st 3point scorer of the game. If you lose, you get a bonus bet based on how many 3’s are made in the game.

Normally, it’s $1 per 3 with a $25 cap ($25 is minimum bet). Today, it’s $2 per made 3 with NO cap. So, if you lose your bet, you have a decent chance of getting a free bet for basically double your initial principal.
This is actually available in MA too. One cool part about this promo too is that they give you the bonus bet even if you win your initial play. I hit it a couple nights ago with Silver Dollar arch-enemy Buddy Hield against the Celtics and got the $19 bonus bet the next day.

My understand is that MA has higher minimum bet thresholds and MA players were only getting $1 per 3 today. That’s great on the winning free bet although I’m wondering if that was a mistake. I’m 0-5 on these so wouldn’t know!

I took this last night in PA and hit $10 on Malik Beasley. Woke up this morning expecting to have a $30 bonus bet too, but only got $10.

If you can digest playing a team on a 12-game losing streak tonight is the night to do it with the Wizards opening up a quick Western swing at the Lakers +9.5

I’d look at some Wizards 1H & ML at plus money too.
Thanks for this. I took them with the points for the game

maybe this helps

Anthony Slater: The Warriors plane was delayed getting out of New York last night, I’m told. Mechanical issue. They didn’t take off until nearly 5 a.m. Didn’t land until after 6 a.m. The team didn’t get to their hotel in Toronto until after 7 a.m. They face the Raptors tonight
Raptors also +130 at home after Warriors won on the road in NY last night. Easy to see them potentially checked out. The Raptors are coming off a loss to the Mavs at home on Wednesday.

National TV game in Boston on Sunday. Potential gap game.

Kerr's Kids (Podz, JK, MM, TJD, Quinones) will only get minutes with high effort, may nix them mailing it in.

The under is a good idea

It’s very likely to hit the Warriors either tonight or Sunday in Boston. Celtics fans want to be rooting for the Warriors tonight….they’d be liable to lose to us by 50.

I’m going on Sunday so would prefer they lose tonight by scoring 70 points so we can get a great game on Sunday and clean up tonight…!

looks like you and Reds got some work done
Yeah, though that last 3 busted 2 out of the 5 units I had layered on Warriors under team total. Will take the big win. We’re onto a day game national stage Sunday NBA finals matchup…

For those of us oldsters not hip to the lingo in here, does that mean take the Celtics and give the points on Sunday?
I would say so although I'm not crazy about laying a big number on a Sunday afternoon which increases the variance of the game. There could be some juicy winning margin numbers 21+ that are value here too. If we are to win by 10-20 this could be the type of (road) Warriors team that packs it in and loses by 40-50 at a decent enough rate.

@HomeRunBaker instead of laying a big number would today be a day where you’d think about playing GSW TTU 108.5 which would play into the Sunday early game, delayed flights, and blow out angles?

The Warriors are 16-12 on the road, including eight straight road wins. Their last game that wasn’t either (a) tight in the 4th quarter or (b) a Warriors walkover was almost two months ago (1/10 v the Pelicans).

On the other hand: Steph and Podz are both questionable with knee soreness; Wiggins (the Ws’ designated Tatum harasser) is out indefinitely with another “family matter”; and the Celtics are the best team in the league by far, and on fire.

Still, 11.5 points seems like a lot to lay v a team that has been one of the 3 or 4 best teams in the NBA over the past month or so.

I’m referring solely to their travel schedule on this trip that got them into Toronto at 7am on Friday morning catching up to them after grinding through a gritty Raptor win. Yeah it’s a huge number that I would never play but I’m thinking if they do win by double digits there is a higher pct of this particular game being one where they pack it in. I’d prefer to play Boston +400 to win by 21+ plus than lay -110 and -11 in this specific setup.

Absent something silly in the second half, you nailed this one.

Free money is my favorite kind. Well done fellas!
There were several tremendous live betting spots once it became clear this game was going the way I felt it could. I will soon have a solution to this. I hope people were at least able to hit the winning margin numbers. I just hate leaving money on the table for those following.

As they said where I went to school in NC, “Awwww Hell Yeah!?!?!!!!”

One of your better calls, 2 days ago.

Steph and Klay could barely move their legs. Having Brown get up under Curry when he passed the half-court was high-level coaching.

I found this angle in college when my coach inadvertently shared this scenario with me and I’d be damned it is didn’t work out identical to this. I know I’ve posted the story here awhile back. RIP Coach.

With 8 of todays 11 NBA games completed and two others well underway there has yet to be one game to finish over the closing total....one day after all 3 of Saturdays games failed to get the Over home as well. It looks like we will have the first 10 games of the day being Unders with only the Kings/Clippers game to go. These numbers have been blown out to ridiculous levels in many cases. Worth keeping an eye on.
What’s up with Sundays? 18-0 on unders the last two weeks with one game remaining tonight.

While I will still post NBA here and on Twitter we have created a private Discord where I will be able to post all of my NBA and UFC stuff in one place along with sharing the soccer and tennis plays with those I swap picks with (both of their long term records are mouth dropping). There will also be a live spaces opportunity for live betting game watches that I’d like to begin doing for Celtics playoff nights, pregame discussion of wagers, etc. Click below to join then leave a message in the welcome thread as to your name/SoSH name.

Good stuff, HRB.

And you get my picks too. I do MLB* a lot a lot, both of us do NFL*, I add in some college, bit better at college football but okay enough at hoops. Something for every season. :)

Ideally I want to do betting lessons too that go beyond the picks. Like they'll help you, and we'll still give those out, but a lot of the joy this never-ending process I find is actively learning, be that on your own or from others.

*Whole gamut of these sports. Sides, totals, props. College stuff I don't touch player props.

Unders are now 19-0 over the last 2 Sundays. About a third of these games went prior to traditional start times but still….this is nutso! I expect the market to overcompensate which we’ve seen this morning. I’m looking at a couple Overs but deciding on best entry numbers….in other words I’m timing the market prior to the buyback. There will be a buy back later on too.

Good stuff Dan! Glad to have you in the Discord.

Came here to take a little shot on a Future. Gobert is -850 to win DPOY and Wemby is +850. Taking a little on the latter as I don’t think the gap is really THAT wide in the voters minds and if Gobert were to miss some time or be injured than price would be a steal.

Probably a good idea to ask the person already generously donating their time for free to educate and allow others to benefit from their expertise to duplicate the efforts due to your preference. Oh wait, that's not how a functioning community works.

All good. For context there are probably 50 people in there already. I had no idea we had some many lurkers. Speaks to the demand for a subject matter expert in this arena - especially one with HRB's hit rate and transparency. We can thank the Mods for constantly overstepping and trying to regulate what could/couldn't be said on this board. As usual its leads to innovation and growth elsewhere.

Yes I will it’s just that I can do so much more over there in one place to provide value. For example….my tennis guy is 3-0, soccer guy 1-0 with a 2u winner yesterday, and I was able to give out my UFC plays that included a +550 winner (longest odds to win a fight this year) as well as a best bet winner that came with over a +1000 prop, and were right there on the other reads too. Still working out the delivery kinks especially with tennis bc those numbers move fast and hard.

Edit: We’ve been here a long time, I didn’t take your post the way it may have sounded. Ty for apology anyway but not necessary.
