Wow, 20 sacks over three games is the most by any Giants QB over three games this season. Incredible stat.

Yeah.. but they ran a few screens and misdirections which I feel like I haven't seen them do basically at all with Mac.
Kind of dangerous calling screens with a guy who panics and lobs the ball at the defense when a pass rusher gets within 20 feet of him.

DeVito’s parents look nothing like I would have guessed.
Those are exactly what I assumed a guy named Tommy DeVito’s parents would look like.
Hmm.

Missing out on a top three pick while having a significant portion of the region in "maybe they have something in Zappe" mode is the nightmare scenario for the remainder of this season.
I’m not exactly sure what Bill is supposed to do. Half the people wanted him pulled. The other half wanted him to stick with Mac – either to tank or to try to see if he could play his way out of this and recapture some of what he had two seasons ago.

So Bill has stuck with Mac for a long time (which I would’ve done as well) but what does it do to your team culture if you keep running him out there if he’s broken (which he seems to be)?

I just think everyone is being way too emotional about this one lousy season. There are no easy or obvious decisions.

Trying to think of the “ideal scenario” for how the rest of this game plays out.

I think mine is:
- zappe looks good-ish, completing many passes to Douglas, Thornton, Boutte
But
- Devito goes off, and Pats lose

Bill is supposed to pull the guy who is seeing ghosts and throws to the other team as much as his own team.

There, done. This isn't about emotions, it's about eyes. Using them and seeing and realizing Mac is the worst QB in the NFL.

Who's saying anything about Bill? Zappe
playing well would be awful for the future of this team in many ways, that's all I was commenting on.

Listened to the game on radio to this point. Zo’s Mac commentary was unrelentingly brutal. It was pretty cathartic.

Now watching TV. I’ll miss the venom.

great exercises in tanking. punting a 4th down you obviously should go for, and even burning a 2nd half timeout instead of taking a meaningless 5 yard penalty. lets go.
