Nice pick but do you think you'll have enough time to hit Bed, Bath and Beyond?FarvinMoosey said:Getting my skipped pick in before I'm off to Home Depot to start a nice little Sunday...
The Riverbottom Nightmare select Burke Badenhop, RP
Yep, whenever you want.StuckOnYouk said:OK, just got back on, so I've been skipped but I can go ahead and make a pick right?
I'll put one up on the board in a few.
Wibi, me, Prometheus, then you.StuckOnYouk said:So if I have this right, wibi, just a bit and then me coming up.
I'll have my pick ready tonight if wibi and just a bit get there's in.

Not much power but plays multiple positions with decent defensive skill.
Yep, I was also pretty surprised.MakMan44 said:Shit, he wasn't picked yet? I think he's going to have a nice season away from Coors.
EDIT: Not that they mean anything but his ST stats are disgusting.
Jaylach said:I'm going to be mostly out of commission for the next week or so. Death on wife's side of family. Should we find me a sub to finish out the Mad Crappers?
If not I can try and come up with a long list of players and just have someone pick someone from the list.
I like the pick but he does not throw mid-90s. He sits at 90-91 on his fastball. It will be interesting to see if his curveball becomes the dominant pitch is was predicted to be now that he is pitching at sea level. He threw it almost 30% of the time pitching at Coors last year.PrometheusWakefield said:Drew Pomeranz, RP4 (SP6)
I'm going post-hype for a former top prospect who looks like he should be a great SP, lefty, throws in the mid-90s. Hasn't been able to put it together at the major league level yet but he did K more than 10 batters per 9 in AAA last year. I'm going to assert that his stuff will play up in the bullpen based on no evidence whatsoever.

I imagine it's the kind of thing the Colorado front office would be paying intense attention to if they were an intelligent organization.

Just make a long list
I mean, if we're talking about replacing people, doesn't KFP head that list? 100% not trying to step on Scoops toes, he already shot that idea down but Kenny was basically skipped 4 straight times and is still waiting to make two picks. If Jaylach wants to make that list, he can send it to me and I'll do my best to keep his team going.PrometheusWakefield said:That seems like a lot of work from your perspective without that much benefit. I don't think it would be too hard to figure out how to put you on auto-, or to find a lurker out there to take over. I mean, unless you really want to make that list.
