Yeah, they do. Alli is the captain today.Live friendly vs MK Dons while wearing the sweet new tie-dye kits. They look great on screen.
Tottenham striker Troy Parrott will undergo a medical at MK Dons today ahead of a season-long loan, reports Charlie Eccleshare.
Parrott, still only 19, spent last season on loan at Championship side Millwall and then League One team Ipswich. Having struggled at Millwall but made a positive impression at Ipswich, it’s hoped that another year in League One will help prepare him for top-flight football.
Parrott was given a taste of life at his new club when he came on as a substitute for Tottenham in their 3-1 win at MK Dons on Wednesday night.
With six caps and two goals for the Republic of Ireland senior team to his name already, Parrott is contracted to Spurs until the summer of 2023.
I think Romero was getting done either way (between Foyth/Sanchez/Toby/Sissoko all probably leaving there was enough). That said, if it looks like Spurs are serious about Vlahovic.... Then Kane is definitely gone.Romero seems mostly done? $45-50M? Lotta money, but that's a big play for fairly well-established high quality CB. Doesn't bode well for Kane's chances of staying...
- Kane spoke to a senior non-English Manchester City player prior to Monday to inform him of his desire to join the club.
- Some at City became aware over the weekend that Kane’s intention was not to train or play for Spurs again.
- After Monday’s no-show, Kane does not plan to return to Hotspur Way until he is granted his wish to leave.
- Tottenham’s position is that they will not sell to another Premier League club under any circumstances (as was the case when they moved on Luka Modric and Gareth Bale). Sources at the club also insist that no “gentleman’s agreement” has ever been made.
- Tottenham’s frustrations with Kane date back a year to when the striker’s post-holiday quarantining delayed his return to pre-season training and was perceived to have affected his performance on the opening weekend against Everton.
- During the same summer, City held a strong interest in signing Kane until their attention was diverted to Lionel Messi.
- Senior City sources have spoken of their expectation for “big signings” beyond the anticipated £100-million acquisition of Jack Grealish. They remain confident that a deal can be done for Kane.
- Senior Spurs figures are furious at the course of action Kane has taken and will fine him if he does not return.
City are understood to be willing to go as high as £130 million, but unless Spurs change their stance on not selling to a Premier League club then that would not make a difference.
He is screwing up his entire legacy at this point. There's ways to get the move you want without pissing off basically every fanbase.Kane is reportedly in Florida and stayed an extra day. He will apparently miss the Man City match now because of this.
Interesting. Probably the best for his development, although I wonder if he just doesn't fit into Nuno's tactical plans.
I don't think they risk a Sanchez injury, when it looks like there's interest from multiple spanish teams.Interesting. Probably the best for his development, although I wonder if he just doesn't fit into Nuno's tactical plans.
Who are the starting CBs against City? If no Romero, Dav and...Dier (GULP!)? Dav and Rodon? Romero is right footed, so whoever plays LCB in a back 4 will be playing inverted--not a big deal IMO, but still relevant and potentially leading to a clunky start.
To me that statement reads "I completely misread this situation."
To me that statement reads, "my brother is a moron."To me that statement reads "I completely misread this situation."
He was expected back on Monday and he didn't come. That's very specifically refusing to train. If there's a valid excuse, we would have heard it Monday.
His reps and advise couldn't have been worse on this.
Every one of the team's mouthpiece's (such as Ali Gold) did. And Nuno had to hold a press conference talking about how they had to handle it internally.Did the team ever come out and say when he was exactly supposed to come back?
He never refused to train, he just chose to do his training in Florida this week.To me that statement reads "I completely misread this situation."

Another lie. In Florida it's practice. He never refused to train, he just chose to do his training in Florida this week.
I think if Kane wanted to go to Barca (and they had their finances fixed), Levy would have already sold him for probably 110 or so. Selling within the PL comes with a much higher price.Lautaro was negotiating with Barca last year I see little reason for him to agree to go to Spurs. Maybe he can make more money but the downside of going to a team line Spurs would be exactly Kane’s situation. If Barca got their house in order in 2 years and came back in for Lautaro would
they be willing to sell?
It seems like Inter ownership is in a bad situation but holding Lautaro until at least Jan and seeing where you are and what you can get from a desperate club might be smart
Well, as long as Lautaro doesn't hire Harry's brother to negotiate the deal I'm sure there would be an actual out clause in it.Lautaro was negotiating with Barca last year I see little reason for him to agree to go to Spurs. Thought Lo Celso looked really good when he came on (and had the incisive pass to setup Japhet).Spurs beat Arsenal in their last friendly today 1-0 and looked pretty good. Taganga did a nice job setting up Son for the winner late. Strong game from Dele as well.
Taganga played like a desperate man fighting for a spot on the squad, which he is.Spurs beat Arsenal in their last friendly today 1-0 and looked pretty good. Taganga did a nice job setting up Son for the winner late. Strong game from Dele as well.
I hope so. But I always think that Lamela used to play awesome in the preseason and then....BTW, what do we think of Moura playing lights out in the pre-season? Could we expect more consistency out of him this year?
I also think Son is going to be playing more centrally, at least for a while. Even is someone like Vlahovic comes in, Son probably still plays with him up top sometimes, leaving plenty of time for Gil.More on Bryan Gil (pronounced Hill) the player coming in the swap deal for Lamela:

Not sure if Son would be replaced in the last 15-20 minutes of any match but perhaps Gil can spell #7 from time to time as a starter, especially in non-Premiere League competitions.
- Harry Kane still wants to leave the club and has been very direct about that. Spurs are holding firm to their valuation and will not sanction a move unless Manchester City meets it.
- Spurs are NOT interested in any players-plus-cash deals, it’s straight-cash-homie or go pound sand.
- If an acceptable City bid does not come through, Kane’s camp could consider the idea of a new contract at Tottenham.
