As someone who watches and roots against Real Madrid on a weekly basis, this is just what they do. They will sucker you in to pushing just a little bit more, not really giving up great chances, then they counter.

Yeah they seem comfortable to play the way the Prem teams who give us trouble do. Not trying to dominate possession and not bothered about having to defend a lot. Just do a job and then let the quality shine through when you throw numbers forward
It usually works for them. Not too many La Liga teams are scoring three golazos from outside the 18.
City-Madrid hasn’t been exactly a tactical masterclass by either side, but the talent on display on those goals is just a sight to see.

You can't trip a player but not be called for a foul because he was "looking for it" if that was the other way it would have been given.
Not giving that penalty is insane, the penalty given in the first half the player had no chance of shooting and was just sprinting in the box losing his balance when there was contact.

If it's not a penalty it's a card...ref did not want to decide the game. Same reason he did not give a clear fouls at the top of the box 30 seconds earlier.
If you're forced to choose it's definitely a card. I'm not sure why you're arguing for that but Saka absolutely dove take a step back and look at it is neutrally
Because if it's not a card it's a penalty, you can't say there isn't a foul (pen or simulation) there the ref has to make a call.
Just saw it. I think it was the right call. Saka may have been tripped anyway but the exaggerated leg extension by Saka cast enough doubt to justify not giving the call. And I say that as Liverpool fan cheering for match congestion.
I've seen that given. I've seen it not given. I don't think either stance is without some merit.

I can’t complain about the Saka call. I’ve seen it given and Neuer was moving into him as well but Saka was too obviously looking for the contact.
The ref also gave Arsenal a huge gift earlier by not calling a pen when Gabriel had a massive brain fart and handled the ball after Raya rolled it to him on a goal kick, clearly thinking the ball wasn’t live yet.
Arsenal were nervous as hell. I’m OK with the result as it could have gone much worse and I think it’s still all to play for with Bayern obviously advantaged at home but Arsenal plenty capable of winning if their nerves settle.

I understand you're biased here lol, but this is nonsense. Neuer sticks his leg out and completely misses the ball blocking Saka’s path. In slow motion it looks like Saka trails his leg, but realistically it's difficult to get out of the way running at that speed. Like others have said, it's a 50/50 call.

In this case I’m not biased. If anything I think I’d rather Arsenal win and have more matches to play. It’s not in any way a 50/50 and the saying “I’ve seen it given” is a fans way of acknowledging it’s probably not a penalty but you wish it had gone your way. Neuer plants his foot and doesn’t move it and Saka dives. He should have been carded. It was also dumb because he might have been able to score. There’s no need to act like this was anything but a dive
I'm happy with this not being a penalty but I think your description is a little off.
If you look at angles from the side its obvious that both players are actually moving into the contact simultaneously. Neuer's right leg is moving forward the whole time, it just doesn't look that way from the angle right behind Saka.
In the end, Saka made a hash of it and if he had sought the contact a bit more subtly, planting his right leg and then hooking it on Neuer's right leg rather than awkwardly keeping it high, I think its called a pen and nobody is really complaining. This is a moment for the dark arts and a more experienced player probably would have pulled it off better.
