That was a very solid halftime show. Not great, but very good.

The chili peppers were kind of superfluous tho.

Released on the same day as Nirvana's Nevermind and A Tribe Called Quest's Low End Theory.  September 24, 1991 was a pretty solid day for album releases.

Wow is that true? Pretty cool actually. 3 great albums.

Every year at Superbowl time I have to re-watch it. It's that great.

It was even better live.  Standing with a bunch of neutral fans during that show and by the end of "Beautiful Day" they were all rooting for the Patriots.

It was just amazing.

Yep.  Kinda nuts, right?  Maybe I'll start a thread on the greatest album release day of all-time.  I'm sure it would work for movies too.

why bother using 'Good Times, Bad Times' if you are going to edit out 'I'm gonna love you each and every day?' Just use a different fucking song assholes.

What was forced about that performance?

Pretty much everything.  Do you honestly think this crowd is familiar with Mars's music?  Nope.

Like McCartney or not, people KNOW his stuff.  In my mind, that makes for a better performance.

Didn't know there were so many Bruno Mars fans on here.  Christ.

After one of the NYC aerial shots, I actually thought of your 'shops and hoped you'd do a STATUE OF GOOBER-TY one with PeyPey's head in full Manningface.
Thanks for thinking of me. :)

Dangerous was released about a month after, as well. That's another diamond album, I believe.

That was VERY nearly an amazing kick, if the bounce had gone another foot or two higher.  But damn, Harvin is fast.
