The hitting, the running, the catching, the throwing: take it all on the road. Unpack it on Toronto.

WTF is with Toronto? Another team that seems to be way underperforming their talent. Starting pitching looks pretty good, offense, etc..... It's been that way it seems especially the last two to three seasons

We're the Jays and we're OK
We sleep all night and we work all day
They're the Jays and they're OK
They sleep all night and they work all day

We fumble balls, we give up runs
Can't hit for a tinker's damn
You may think us kind of pointless
Because we're Canadian.
Canadians basically all are lumberjacks so this all checks out!
They also also skip and jump, wear high heels, suspenders and a bra.... so definitely!

A perfect combination of sick humor and disrespect for our adversaries. Hats off to you.

Romy's back and starting at 2B. Yoshida sitting. 6 of the 9 starters are RHB to face Kikuchi.

Series 24: SOX vs JAYS
Took out the Yankees. T’was a fun two days.
watching the Red Sox discover new ways
to win, and it’s not just the guys who blaze
the basepaths: we should give the whole crew praise.
We did not lose faith and being true pays.
Have we broken out of that taboo haze
of unfocused play and an askew gaze
to finally find our derring-do phase?
Put it on repeat (like those review plays)
and do the same to shoot down the Blue Jays.

Interesting that Hamilton's still at short with Romy at 2B. That isn't optimal defensively, so it seems like they're committing to Blizzard's WIP fielding.

I'm sad to see the Barrel Man off the roster. He performed very well in his tour of duty.

yeah good call. These are the options?:

A. Hamilton has been hitting well and they don’t want to break the rhythm by switching his position

B. They believe Hamilton has untapped defensive upside and will take the short term worse defense in exchange for his development at the more challenging/valuable position

C. They actually think Hamilton is better at SS, or at least that the drop off from RG to DH is less at SS than 2B for some reason

D. A different reason I’m not smart enough to think of

looks like you’re going with B. I’m leaning A

I'm not so hot on all dark unis (though the Jays will be), but I do like the logo on theirs. More than just the name.

Refsnyder looked a bit uncomfortable after that take on 2-2.

Also, the way these Toronto unis cause weird blue lines around the electronic ad board is obnoxiously annoying.
