Both feet AND the ball have to be in the front court. LBJ had one foot still in the backcourt at the time he passed it.
Ah, thought it was one foot.

It used to be many years ago. Under today's rule a player can cross the half court line with BOTH feet while keeping dribble in backcourt and still retreat to the backcourt without it being a violation. Rarely would this occur in the NBA but in college against presses it can.

Edit: I'll double check on this also being the correct NBA rule.

Crawford clearly was given orders to call this game for Golden State.
I'm going to have to disagree here. Della has played like shit on offense. James has missed a couple shots. So has shumpert and we got bad j.r. Smith tonight

Crawford still thinks people pay money to watch him.

Can't believe GS isn't up by at least 20

Yes Ed I shouldn't have second guessed myself as that is the NBA rule also.

c. A ball being held by a player: (1) is in the frontcourt if neither the ball nor the player is touching the backcourt, (2) is in the backcourt if either the ball or player is touching the backcourt.

d. A ball being dribbled is (1) in the frontcourt when the ball and both feet of the player are in the frontcourt, (2) in the backcourt if the ball or either foot of the player is in the back- court.

Adam needs a protein shake or something. Dude looks ill

Edit: maybe he just looks sickly next to the very healthy lady interviewing him

Yeah its pretty clear that Crawford is so totally calling this game for Golden State.  I mean, take the FT differntial.

GS is 8-11 from the stripe while Cleveland is 6-10.  Its almost criminal.

I think both can be true.. Crawford has gone out of the way to be the show tonite.. But the cavs have gotten away with a lot of grabbing all series so it's about time some of them are called. Della could get called for a foul every time he tries to guard Curry.

Especially since GS hasn't gone to the rim at all!

The 718
Cavs don't have enough bodies, especially since they can't compete without playing a very physical style. I don't see how they come back in this game (unless Mike Miller forgets how old he is and hits seven 3s in a row).

--Bogut officially has Kendrick Perkins disease.  Only can perform thuggery, not basketball.  Should be avoided by Kerr at all costs.

--Delly not drinking coffee before the game as he usually does is actually really dumb.  So little effect on hydration, and if your body is used to it while performing, its foolish to go cold turkey in the Finals.  That stuff (and being without it) has very real effects on the body.

--Love Iguodala on Lebron from the start, and like the Warriors D in general.

--The Cavs bench is truly awful.  I hope JR Smith continues to be awful, thoroughly enjoyable.

--Hope Curry/Thompson get hot in the 2nd half and don't let the Cavs back into it.

If he's anything like me, Delly just got a terrible cramp the second he sat down.

He has his hand on Currys hip every time he goes to the basket.. He's always behind but the guy does know how to do things very subtly that will throw you off.

I've experienced this when I played and it's a helpless feeling if it is what I suspect. With his recent heavy usage he probably is experiencing DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) and being out there less than 48 hours later he may have trouble finishing this one out. That little rest isn't going to help much if his quad muscles begin shutting down. Worth watching for sure.

Random question....what did the 76ers get for Andre igudala?
traded by the Philadelphia 76ers to the Denver Nuggets; the Denver Nuggets traded Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, a 2013 2nd round draft pick (Romero Osby was later selected) and a 2014 1st round draft pick to the Orlando Magic; the Los Angeles Lakers traded Christian Eyenga, Josh McRoberts and a 2017 1st round draft pick to the Orlando Magic; the Los Angeles Lakers traded Andrew Bynum to the Philadelphia 76ers; the Orlando Magic traded Earl Clark, Chris Duhon and Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers; the Orlando Magic traded Jason Richardson to the Philadelphia 76ers; and the Philadelphia 76ers traded Maurice Harkless, Nikola Vucevic and a future 1st round draft pick to the Orlando Magic. Denver will send the lower of its two 2014 first round draft picks to Orlando.

If you have your arms straight up, but jump forward into the offensive player and hip check him, it's still a foul. One day Mozgov and the Cavs will learn this.

This is not a good quarter…..
